NBEME declared FMGE 2025 results for the December session on its official website. Candidates can download FMGE scorecards before February 12, 2025. Read to know more.
The National Board of Examinations declared the result for the FMGE December session on January 19, 2025. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check and download the FMGE results 2025 from the official website of NBEMS at natboard.edu.in. The FMGE2025 result will contain the candidates’ roll number, marks scored, and their qualifying status. The result of the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) held on January 12, 2025, has been declared and can be checked from the link given below. The authorities will release the FMGE scorecard on January 27, 2025.

Candidates must note that scorecards will not be sent individually. FMGE 2025 December session was conducted on January 12, 2025, in computer-based mode. NBE conducts exams for those foreign medical graduates who wish to practice or study in India. It is mandatory to qualify for the exam to register with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or State Medical Council(SMC) to get the license. Those who score the minimum cut-off are considered to pass the FMGE screening test. They have to score at least 50 percent marks out of 300 to qualify for the FMGE 2025 exam. NBE conducts the FMGE exam twice a year, in December and June.

Q: What are the passing marks for FMGE 2024 result?
To qualify for FMGE 2024 June session exam, a candidate will have to score 150 or more marks in the examination. The exact number of FMGE cutoff will be released after the declaration of the results.
The passing percentage for the FMGE 2023 June session was around 10.20. Hence for this June session it will remain more or less same.
Q: I did not clear the FMGE examination. Can I still download my scorecard?
Yes, you can download the FMGE scorecard even if you did not clear the examination. This will help you analyse the areas where you lost marks. The FMGE 2024 score card will be available to download even after the declaration of the results.

Q: If I do not qualify as per the FMGE 2024 result, can I retake the examination?
Yes, applicant can appear for the next session of FMGE exam. There is no capping on the number of attempts applicants appear in FMGE exam.
Though students have to fill the FMGE application form 2024 every time, followed by paying the application fees. Hence it is advised that applicants need to be prepared before appearing for the exam.
Q: What is the result declaration date for FMGE 2024?
The FMGE December 2024 result will be declared online on February 12, 2025. The result will be released online in PDF form. It must be noted the result of particular session will be valid for that session only. Candidates have to score the minimum cut off to qualify for the exam.
The minimum cut off is 50% marks, i.e 150 out of 300. Qualified candidates will have to download the scorecard for FMGE 2024 from the official website on or after the specified date. NBE will issue a pass certificate to qualified candidates. The pass certificates can be collected from National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) office.
Q: My FMGE result has been withheld. What does that mean?
If FMGE result has been withheld it means that the authorities hold back the results of the candidates with incomplete documentation. Once the deficit documents are submitted by the candidate, his/ her result is released.

The NBEMS has mentioned on the official website that the result of FMGE 2024 December session will be declared on February 12, 2025.

What after FMGE 2025 result?
Candidates will have to download the scorecard from the official website of NBE. FMGE scorecard can be easily downloaded through registration credentials. It must be noted that only those who qualify for the exam will be able to download the scorecard. NBE will issue FMGE 2025 Pass Certificates to those who qualify for the screening test. Upon presentation of this certificate at the MCI, they will be issued the registration certificates and will be eligible to practice in India.
