NEET 2021 Counselling Round 1 Institute Reporting Process Ends on February 9

The NEET UG counselling Round 1 institute reporting process is scheduled to conclude today, i.e. February 9. The institute reporting process, which had opened on February 3 can be made in online as well as offline modes. The ‘Resignation’ module has also been activated and the last date to resign from the allotted seats in Round 1 is February 15, 4 pm. This page brings all that you need to know about the NEET UG counselling institute reporting process.

How to Participate in Institute Reporting

Candidates need to follow the steps given below to participate in the online institute reporting process:

  • Visit the official NEET 2021 counselling website – mcc.nic.in

  • Click on the ‘Online Registration’ tab

  • Login with registration credentials

  • Click on the tab indicating online reporting

  • Upload the documents and follow other instructions

Documents Required for Institute Reporting

The following documents are required for the institute reporting process:

  • NEET admit card 2021

  • NEET result 2021 or rank letter

  • Class 10 mark sheet and certificate

  • Class 12 mark sheet and certificate

  • Valid, non-expired and government-issued photo ID proof

  • Six to eight passport-sized photographs (preferably the same as the one submitted with the NEET 2021 application form)

  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)

  • Disability Certificate (if applicable)

  • Provisional allotment letter

For NRI/OCI/PIO/Foreign National candidates, the following documents are required:

  • Passport copy of sponsorer, embassy certificate

  • Sponsorship affidavit (stating that the sponsorer is ready to bear the expenses for the whole duration of the study)

  • Relationship Affidavit (Relation of Candidate with the sponsorer)

MCC has notified candidates regarding the hybrid mode of the reporting process. Candidates opting for online reporting/e-joining can join the allotted college by sending a confirmatory email regarding the acceptance of a seat and uploading scanned copies of relevant documents as mentioned in Information Bulletin. Colleges will verify the scanned copies of documents. However, those who want to Upgrade for Round-2 while retaining the Round-1 seat, have to ‘Report physically’ at the allotted institute to confirm their admission.

For resigning the seats, candidates need to log in with their registration credentials and then click on the ‘Resign’ tab to complete the resignation process. Candidates must ensure that the Resignation Letter is generated online through the MCC portal by the allotted college, without which the resignation will be considered null and void.

The registration process for Round 2 of NEET 2021 counselling will begin on February 16 and the last day to register is February 21. The choice filling and locking process will open on February 17 and February 21 respectively.
