Candidates have to register and declare choices of college and course on the official website of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), mcc.nic.in. MCC holds online NEET PG 2024 counselling for allotment of 50% seats while respective state agencies will allot rest 50% seats through counselling. Earlier on September 5, 2024, NEET PG 2024 merit list for 50% All India Quota seats was released online in PDF format. Candidates shortlisted in the merit list will participate in the counselling for NEET PG 2024. The merit list comprises details such as NEET PG 2024 rank, AIQ rank, AIQ category rank etc. NBE uploaded scorecards for AIQ 50% NEET PG 2024 result on the official website, natboard.edu.in and candidates will be able to download it with login details. The scorecards comprises important deatils such as overall and category rank. NEET PG 2024 scorecards for AIQ 50% seats will be needed duing counselling.
NEET PG 2024 result was released on August 23, 2024. The result cum merit list comprising details such as percentile, application ID, roll number and rank was uploaded online. Candidates can download the NEET PG result 2024 PDF from the official website, nbe.edu.in. NBE released NEET PG 2024 scorecards on August 30, 2024. Qualified candidates will be able to download scorecards with login details. The scorecards contains details such as name, roll number, date of birth, total marks secured, total correct and incorrect questions, category etc.Â
Candidates have to secure minimum NEET PG 2024 cut off to qualify for the exam. The cut off differs as per the category. The cut off for general category is 50 percentile. Candidates qualified with the minimum score will be eligible to participate in NEET PG 2024 counselling. NEET PG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post-Graduation), is conducted for providing admission to various MD (Doctor of Medicine)/ MS (Master of Surgery) and PG Diploma courses across the country. NEET PG Reservation: The Revised Criteria
In 2021, Centre had approved 27 and 10 per cent NEET PG reservations for OBC and EWS candidates respectively in 50 per cent All India Quota seats. Candidates who belong to the OBC category (non-creamy layer) as per the Central OBC list, will compete for 50 per cent seats in government medical and dental colleges across the country via AIQ. Candidates don't need the domicile of any particular state for admission to 50 per cent AIQ seats. Similarly, those who belong to EWS (Economic Weaker Section) will be eligible for 10 per cent quota in NEET PG admission. Candidates of both categories need to produce the relevant documents at the time of admission. For candidates of SC and ST categories, there is already a reservation of 15 and 7.5 per cent respectively in NEET PG admission.Â

On the basis of the result, NBE prepares a NEET PG merit list. According to which seat allotment process takes place. The higher the position in the merit list better the college candidates get.
