Occupational therapy is a discipline of medicine that focuses on treating and rehabilitating persons who are physically, emotionally or psychologically disabled. The B.Sc. in Occupational Therapy is an undergraduate programme also known as BOT. The course has a typical duration of three years. Duration of the course
A bachelor's degree in occupational theory is a four-year programme with eight semesters. The course teaches students how to prevent and treat physical, emotional, and mental problems and specially-abled people.

A minimum of 50 per cent in 10+2/Senior Secondary is required of the prospective candidate (45 per cent for SC, ST, and OBC). During Senior Secondary, the candidate's core subjects must be Chemistry, Physics, Biology or Mathematics.

CMCVEE: The Christian Medical College, Vellore, conducts the CMC Vellore Entrance Examination (CMCVEE) for eager candidates seeking admission to the college's B.Sc. in Operation Therapy programme. The entrance exam is an online computer-based MCQ exam. In General Ability, there are 120 questions divided into two groups. Syllabus for Distance programme in Occupational Therapy
Distance education is a type of learning that does not require students to physically attend classes, whereas Regular education requires students to be physically present in class.
The BOT syllabus is the same whether you are in regular or distance education. However, Exams under the regular education system are taken offline according to the schedule established by the college or university, whereas exams in distance education can be taken online or offline. Regular courses are substantially more expensive than distance education courses.
The MOT and BOT courses can be taken online and provide students with the same career opportunities as on-campus courses. The evaluation in terms of grades is also the same in both formats.
