Human Physiology

This core subject of Naturopathy will allow the students to explore more about how the normal human body functions in disease and health. Moreover, it exposes the students to the field of biomedical research. Students will learn more about the function, integration, and regulation of human body organ systems. The subject content also includes introductory cell physiology along with other crucial organ systems.

Hospital Management

Hospital management subjects can help the students to have a successful career in healthcare, and they can work as hospital managers. This course will help them develop the necessary skills required to systemise, regulate, control and organise different medical services as well as to manage, guide, and supervise different departments of a hospital, such as health information technicians, physicians, nursing and more.

Clinical Naturopathy

Clinical Naturopathy allows the students to learn the techniques of investigating various key naturopathic medicines. This may also include evaluating dietary, natural medications, dietary medications, and more. Moreover, the subject also helps them to learn about regular medicinal side effects and possible conditions one may experience in the current practice. They will explore different ways to stimulate positive thinking, reduce anxiety, depression, and stress, and enhance their overall health. Manipulative Therapies

This subject includes details about osteopathy, chiropractic and manual medicine. After going through this subject, students will learn how different types of manipulative therapies can be used to restore or retrain various functions lost due to trauma, strokes, disease, and to treat sciatica, whiplash, muscle problem, sports injuries, musculoskeletal issues, and more. Besides, students will learn the right way to apply heat, water, pressure, and several strengthening and manipulation techniques to eliminate health issues.

Community Medicine

This is a crucial subject in Naturopathy. Students will learn about protecting and promoting health and well-being of the communities through primary health care methods. The students will also learn about epidemiology, biostatistics, international health, nutrition, applied epidemiology, public health legislations, different primary health care systems, etc. Thus, the Naturopathy students will get an insight of the primary and secondary healthcare settings and promote rehabilitative and preventive healthcare services.

Basic Pharmacology

This subject involves chemistry, physiology, biology, toxicology, and more. Students doing BNYS should know everything about drugs, indications, mechanism of action, excretion, drug administration, drug interactions, contradictions, etc. This subject integrates knowledge from different scientific disciplines crucial in maintaining human health. Based on the skills obtained through this subject, students can offer different medical treatments combined with naturopathic treatments.

Physiotherapy

This particular subject focuses on different types of physiotherapy techniques that can be used for pain management. The students will develop intricate theoretical knowledge during the course with the aim of treating the physical pain of people. In this subject, students will also get to know about different principles related to pharmacology, biomechanics, human anatomy, surgical condition, psychology, and more. Besides, some colleges and universities also teach electrotherapy.

Fasting and Diet Therapy

The subject helps them to develop the relevant skills so that they can recommend necessary changes to resolve different diet-related issues in people. Human Anatomy I & II
