Important Topics for AFCAT Verbal Ability

The important topics for this section are spotting errors, synonyms & antonyms, jumbled sentences, ordering of sentences, spelling test, cloze test, etc. Check below the important topics for AFCAT Verbal Ability.

Spotting the errors: In this section, candidates need to work on grammar and clear the basics of noun, pronoun, tense, phrases, adjectives etc.

Synonyms and Antonyms: Practice previous years’ question papers for Synonyms and Antonyms.

Jumbled Sentences: Candidates are asked to make a sequence from the options. Candidates should first try to apply the options and try to find the right answer.

Ordering of Sentences: To solve questions from this section, candidates must take the question as a narration of the story and apply the options to get the right answer.

For General Awareness section, candidates must cover Current Affairs, History, Geography, Indian Polity, Economics, Science, etc. Candidates must also go through the important events related to Sports, Satellite, Defence, National Parks, Missiles, and Aircraft in GK section. Current Affairs: Candidates should go through the current affairs of six months by reading the newspapers, magazines, etc.

AFCAT Exam Pattern 2023

AFCAT exam pattern is divided into online test and AFSB interview. The test paper of AFCAT carries 100 questions and EKT carries 50 questions. AFCAT carries 300 marks and EKT carries 150 marks. The structure of AFCAT and EKT exam are given below.
