UPSC CAPF 2020 Exam was conducted on December 20 at the designated exam centres across the nation. Shiksha.com took the Students Reaction about the UPSC CAPF 2020 question paper.
The UPSC conducted the Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) Assistant Commandant (AC) exam 2020 on December 20. The UPSC conducted the CAPF exam amid the farmers’ protest at the inter-state borders. Some candidates faced difficulty in reaching the exam centre. Some candidates reached New Delhi one day before the exam and stayed in the hotels.

The UPSC CAPF exam Paper I was conducted in the first session from 10 AM to 12 PM. In the CAPF 2020 General Ability and Intelligence paper, 125 questions were asked from approximately all the topics mentioned in the CAPF Syllabus. There was a negative marking of one-third in the CAPF exam. It means that the three wrong answers will eat up the marks secured in one correct answer.
Shiksha.com covered the CAPF 2020 exam at the UPSC exam hall New Delhi and asked the students’ experience about the CAPF exam 2020. Most candidates shared that the CAPF 2020 question paper followed the past trends of the previous years’ question paper. The questions from the Ancient History surprised the candidates and were difficult to answer those questions. The candidates from the Humanities background found them easy to answer. The students found the CAPF question paper balanced one. The candidates from the Science background find the Science questions easy.

Candidates from the Humanities and Commerce background find it difficult to answer the General Science questions. The number of questions from the current affairs section was less than the expected numbers. The questions from the current affairs were interdisciplinary in orientation and were mixed with the Economic and Geographic concepts.

Akhil Kumar Roy
Akhil Kumar Roy found the question paper balanced and the Science questions were difficult. He said the questions from the India Polity were easy to answer. As per Akhil, the number of questions from the Current Affairs section was very few. The difficulty level of the question paper was medium and it followed the pattern of the previous years.
Pradeep Kumar
Pradeep Kumar found the questions from the General Science of medium difficulty and there were a good number of questions from History, Indian Polity and General Science. He is from Sonipat and reached New Delhi one day before the exam because of the farmers’ agitation. He found some questions from the General Science and History difficult.
Jaishankar Sharma
Jaishankar Sharma said that the CAPF 2020 paper followed the pattern of the previous years. He stated that the questions from the reasoning were very few and there were a good number of questions from the Mathematics in the paper. He came from Ghaziabad and faced no difficulty in reaching the exam centre.
