Candidates willing to get admission must possess Assam university-prescribed criteria along with a valid CUET score. Candidates can check here all the details of the eligibility criteria:

Yes, OBC candidates applying for CUET must upload the OBC-NCL certificate in online CUET application form. The OBC-NCL certificate must be issued in consonance with the latest guidelines of the Government of India. If candidate fail to upload the OBC-NCL certificate (issued on or after 01 April, 2024) at the time of CUET 2025 registration, then in such case they will have to upload a declaration in lieu of OBC-NCl certificate to that effect.

As per BHU cutoff 2023, the minimum CUET UG cutoff score was 152 for B.A. in Sanskrit, followed by 158 for B.A. (Hons.) in Home Science. Assam University UG Admission: Seat allocation rounds based on CUET score
Assam University releases a merit list based on valid CUET scores for each UG course separately. Candidates are allocated the best seat possible based on their preference, CUET score, and other criteria mentioned below:

- Quota [ UR/OBC/EWS/SC/ST]
- Other special criteria as per the university standard.
Assam University offers reservations to quota students and special reservations to campus students. The reservation of seats for admission in each department will be as follows:
- Scheduled Caste category (SC): 15%
- Scheduled Tribe category (ST): 7.5%
- Other Backward Class (OBC): 27%
- Economically Weaker Section (EWS): 10%
- Person with Disability (PwD): 5%
- ST(H) candidates of the State of Assam applying for admission in Diphu Campus, will be given a special weightage equivalent to 20% of marks.
Candidates belonging to specific quotas must have a caste certificate of the respective category, otherwise, they will not be allowed for admission based on reservation quota.
