But when the normalized score was out, I was a bit unhappy because wasn’t expecting such a massive drop but then got through it. Overall I’m satisfied.

For bst and economics,I strictly followed NCERT. I thoroughly practised Accounts from TS Grewal and Maths from NCERT, NCERT EXEMPLAR.

Q: How much time did you devote to self-study? What do you feel is better, coaching or self-study?
A: I did 4-5 hours of self-study everyday. I believe self-study is better, but for subjects like maths and accounts, one needs a lot of practice and a variety of questions to get a hold of the subjects. So a combination of both should be made, coaching should be supplemented by the requisite amount of self-study which would help to achieve optimum results.

Q: Which subject is your strong one and which is the weakest? Are NCERT books sufficient for preparations?
A: My strengths are Economics and Accountancy whereas my weakest subject is Maths.
Yes,Ncert books are absolutely sufficient but I would recommend TS Grewal for Accounts as it strengthens all your concepts.
Q: What was your exam day strategy? According to you, what was the toughest and easiest section?
A: I didn’t have a strategy as such but had come to the exam hall with the mindset that I shouldn’t have any regrets in the future. This is a one-time opportunity and I have to make the most out of it. Further,I made sure that I was calm and composed during the exam in order to give my best.
I feel the toughest section was maths as it has 15 compulsory questions, so you don't have a choice and the easiest was accountancy.
Q: Which all universities did you apply for? What was your dream college?
A: I applied to Delhi University. My dream college was SRCC.

Q: What are the courses you are looking forward to?
A: I am looking forward to pursuing Economic honours as I have a keen interest in Economics and Maths.
Q: To whom do you attribute your successful CUET journey? What would you suggest to future CUET aspirants in terms of preparation, attitude, etc.?
I attribute my successful journey to my friends, family and especially my DAD. He constantly guided and motivated me throughout class 12th. After boards, he encouraged me to put in all my efforts to revise the concepts for CUET, which played a major role in this journey and would like to thank the teachers at Toprankers for making the concepts easier, their study materials covered the NCERT syllabus along with other elements, mock test series, regular weekly tests helped me a lot in my preparation.
My core suggestion would be to be consistent with the concepts. Subjects like Bst and Economics require multiple NCERT readings. English is a make-or-break subject. People tend to take English lightly however this year the difficulty level was moderate and thus English requires time and effort. You could read newspapers and practice variety of reading comprehension to brush up your English. Maths and Accounts need rigorous practice throughout the year. In the end, mock tests are a must as they not only help you to manage time but also help to practice a variety of questions. Have faith in yourself and in your dreams, you will surely succeed!
