Common University Entrance Test (CUET) score is accepted by more than 250 universities (central, state, private and deemed) across India. On the basis of the CUET UG score, candidates are offered admission to UG programme of the participating colleges. Q:   What is the selection process for B.A and what is the minimum CUET score required?

A:

The selection process for a B.A. differs from one college to another. While many central universities and colleges have come to accept CUET scores as an admission requirement, many colleges still proceed with their entrance test. To get admission into a particular college, the candidate must go through the college's official website and find out the requirements. The CUET average score previously was required around 700 and more for better colleges, while now that the pattern has changed and students only need to opt for a lesser number of subjects, the cut-off will also depend on the same. 

Q:   Which are the languages included in CUET UG?

A:

CUET UG langauge section will now consist of 13 languages instead of 33 languages. The 13 langauges of CUET UG 2025 are: English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu. Whereas, the languages which have been deleted are: Arabic, Bodo, Chinese, Dogri, French, German, Italian, Janpanese, Kashmiri, Konkani, Maithili, Manipuri, Nepali, Persian, Russian, Santhali, Sindhi, Spanish, Tibetan, Sanskrit.

Q:   How many BBA colleges accept CUET in India?

A:

About 190+ BBA colleges are accepting CUET in India. Out of which,  130 colleges are privately owned,  47 colleges are owned by public/government organisations, and public-private owns only 1 college. CUET is one of the widely accepted entrance exams in top BBA colleges in IndiaAmity University Noida, Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, Galgotias University, IMS Unison University are some of the famous BBA colleges in India that accept CUET.

  • Candidates should have completed Class 12 from a recognized board
  • They must have secured at least 45% aggregate in Class 12 in relevant subjects
