NTA will conduct CUET 2026 between May 11 and May 31, 2026 in Computer Based Test Mode. The exam will be administered across 321 cities (including India and abroad) in multiple shifts. Each CUET question paper will have 50 questions that a candidate has to answer within 60 minutes. Candidates can check the CUET 2026 allotted exam centre upon release of CUET intimation slip and CUET admit card. Only candidates who will fill the CUET application form along with the successful application fee payment will be able to download the intimation slip for CUET exam. The name of exam centre will be mentioned on the intimation alip in advance to help candidates make preparations accordingly. The CUET 2026 admit card is expected to release three to four days prior to the day of examination in online mode. To appear for CUET UG exam, candidates must make sue to follow the below mentioned dress code:
- Candidates must not wear long sleeve clothes.
- Candidates wearing cultural/customary dress must report at the CUET exam centre one hour before the reporting time.

CUET UG 2026 Exam Day Important Instructions
Candidates appearing for CUET must keep the following instructions in mind for the exam day.
1. Candidates must report to the exam center 90 minutes before the exam begins. No latecomers will be entertained.
2. Candidates must take their assigned seats only.
3. Candidates must bring their photo ID and admit card for verification at the entrance gate and in the exam room. According to the National Testing Agency, no student will be allowed to enter the exam centre without these documents.
4. Ensure that the question paper on the screen matches the opted subject and according to the exam schedule.
5. NTA will not reschedule the test for any candidate who misses the exam. Hence, reach before the closing of the gates.
Note: Perform all calculations and writing tasks on the rough sheets provided in the examination hall and return the rough sheets to the invigilator before leaving the room to ensure compliance with the rules.
CUET UG Exam 2026: Documents Required on Exam Day
Candidates appearing for the CUET 2026 exam must carry the following documents to the exam center. Failure to present these documents will result in disqualification from the examination.
1. Admit Card with Self-Declaration (Undertaking): A printout of the Admit Card downloaded from the NTA website. The Admit Card must be printed on A4 size paper and include the duly filled-in Self-Declaration (Undertaking).
2. Passport-Size Photograph: One passport-size photograph identical to the one uploaded on the Online Application Form. This photograph will be pasted on the Attendance Sheet at the exam center.
3. Authorized Photo ID (Original, Valid, and Non-Expired):
Candidates must present one of the following original photo IDs:
- School Identity Card
- PAN Card
- Driving License
- Voter ID Card
- Passport
- Aadhaar Card (with photograph)
- E-Aadhaar with photograph
- Ration Card (with photograph)
- Class 12 Board Admit Card (with photograph)
- Bank Passbook (with photograph)
PwBD certificate issued by the authorized medical officer, if claiming the relaxation under PwBD category OR PwBD Certificate regarding physical limitation in an examination to write, if claiming the relaxation under the PwBD category.
4. PwBD Certificate (if applicable): Candidates claiming relaxation under the PwBD category must carry:
- A PwBD certificate issued by an authorized medical officer.
- OR, if applicable, a certificate regarding physical limitations to write the exam.
CUET UG City Intimation Slip 2026
National Testing Agency releases a document that includes information about the allotted exam city, exam date and slot timing of a candidate. The CUET intimation slip is issued only to the registered applicants, usually 9-10 days before the exam date so the candidates can make the required travel and accommodation arrangements for the exam day.
CUET UG Admit Card 2026
NTA releases CUET admit card three to four days before the D-day. Candidates who successfully register for CUET exam gets to download their hall ticket to appear for the exam. For CUET UG 2026, candidates must download and take CUET 2026 admit card to the examination hall. Only registered candidates can download the admit card online.
