Candidate passed 12th/equivalent from Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology/ Inter Agriculture and English are eligible to apply. Candidate who have passed qualifying examination without Biology/Mathematics will have to complete deficiency courses. Candidate of physically handicapped category with minimum aggregate marks 40% are eligible to apply.

The admission process at Dr. D.Y. Patil School of Engineering Academy (DYPSOEA) typically follows a merit-based system. Direct admission to DYPSOEA may be possible. You must take and pass the JEE tests for B.Tech or you can go through management quota or CAP rounds. Candidates seeking admission to Ph.D. (Ayurved) and Ph.D. (Engineering) must appear for Ph.D. Entrance Test (PET), conducted by the University.
