CTET 2018 would be conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on December 9, 2018. Candidates are informed that CTET 2018 exam pattern is such that aspirants can appear for two separate exams as part of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET).
Central Teacher Eligibility Test comprises of two exams, that is, Paper-I and Paper-II. CTET 2018 Paper I needs to be given by candidates who want to become teachers of Classes I to V. On the other hand Paper II of CTET exam needs to be attempted by aspirants who want to teach Classes VI- VIII, that is, elementary school.
CTET 2018 dates have been declared and it has been shared that the exam would be conducted on December 9, this year. CTET Paper I as well as Paper II would be conducted on the same day. The exam day schedule of CTET 2018 is as mentioned below:

Candidates are informed that they will be considered to have qualified CTET 2018 if they secure 60% marks in the national level teacher eligibility test. The validity of CTET qualifying certificate is seven years from the date when the CTET result is declared for all categories.
