CTET 2018 is scheduled to be conducted on December 9, 2018. Candidates who wish to apply for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) need to first of all go through the detailed information brochure of the national level entrance exam. Thereafter, aspirants need to ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria for CTET 2018. Candidates who meet CTET eligibility criteria then need to fill the application form for the teacher eligibility test.
CTET 2018 application form needs to be filled by candidates online on the official website of the exam. Candidates need to fill CTET application form by visiting the website – www.ctet.nic.in. Further, candidates need to follow the below mentioned steps to fill CTET 2018 application form.
How to Fill CTET 2018 Application Form
Step 1: Visit the official website of CTET exam
Step 2: Click on “Apply Online” link
Step 3: Fill details in CTET Online Application Form
Step 4: Note down Registration No./ Application No.
Step 5: Upload scanned images of latest photograph as well as signature
Step 6: Pay examination fee by e-challan or debit/credit card
Step 7: Print confirmation page for record and future reference
In order to successfully register for CTET 2018, candidates need to first of all fill the authentication form. In this form aspirants need to fill their details such as – State, Identification type, Candidate’s Name, and Date of Birth as well as Gender.
Thereafter, candidates need to fill their details in their CTET 2018 application form and also choose their password. Things that candidates need to keep in mind while keeping their password is that:
- The password should be 8 to 13 characters long.
- The password should contain at least one upper case alphabet, one lower case alphabet and one numeric value.
- The password should have at least one special character from !@#$%^&*-
Aspirants can change their passwords after they login, if they feel the need. However, candidates need to note that the new password should not be identical to any of the previous three passwords.
CTET 2018 Application Form: Online uploading of scanned documents
Candidates need to upload their scanned photograph and signature along with their CTET 2018 application form. Candidates need to ensure that they upload their recent photograph along with their application form as the same would be used to identify the candidate on the day of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test.

CTET 2018 Application Form: Payment of application fee
Candidates can pay CTET application fee through e-challan. The fee can be paid through e-challan by depositing the prescribed application fee in CTET Exam Fee Account with Syndicate Bank or Canara Bank. Apart from this, aspirants can also pay the application fee for CTET exam through the online mode, that is, through Debit Card or Credit Card.
