Several entrance exams are held every year at the state and central levels for physical education courses at various institutes in India. The minimum eligibility condition for these exams is passing the higher secondary examination. Some entrance exams for physical education courses are:

Syllabus for Distance Program in Physical education
Students who cannot opt for a full-time degree may opt for distance education. Students failing to meet the eligibility requirements for full-time courses may go for distance learning. Students who have completed their 10+2 from a recognised board or university are eligible for this course. The syllabus of distance education programs is mostly similar to the full-time programs. The evaluation format accounting for 30% for internal and 70% for end semester scores is also the same.
