KIET - the path to a better future.
Placements: In my college, about 70 to 80 percent of students get placed. The highest package this year is 60 LPA, and the lowest is 4 lacs, with an average of 7-8 lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies are TCS and Infosys. In my branch, approximately 30-40 percent got internships at TCS, Infosys, and Microsoft. They have added development courses as well.
Infrastructure: My college has different kinds of clubs, including tech, cultural, management, and sports clubs. It also has a cafeteria and library inside. The whole campus has Wi-Fi with good speed, and the classrooms are also good, with smartboards and AC. The food quality is pretty good here, and hostel rooms are also well-maintained, with a good ground for different kinds of sports.
Faculty: Faculty members here are very good, with innovative teaching styles, like using real-life examples, and they are also highly educated. The course here is designed according to current industry needs, that's why it is very relevant. The exam pattern includes 2 MSEs (mid-semester exams) and an end-semester exam. The passing percentage is 40 percent.
Other: I really love AI, that's why I chose this field, and also, the future of AI is very secure. Our college conducts many fests, such as Innotech, a technical fest, and Epox, a cultural fest, and many more. They can add more development courses like they did this time.

Honest review G.L. Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management from GLBIAN.
Placements: In GLBITM, around 85%-90% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered in the last session was 58 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 7.6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 5 LPA. Companies like Microsoft and Flipkart visit campus. There are mass recruiters too like TCS and Wipro.
Infrastructure: Institute offers well-equipped classrooms, including smart classrooms, and seminar halls for events. Labs are modern and Wi-Fi-enabled, fostering a teach-driven learning environment. Hostels provide basic amenities, with good mess and canteen food. Sports facilities include cricket, futsal, football, volleyball, and badminton. Medical facilities are available on campus, ensuring student well-being.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful, ensuring excellent teaching quality. Course curriculum is industry-relevant, equipping students with practical skills for their careers. Semester exams are moderately difficult, and the college maintains a pass percentage of over 90%.
Other: I chose this course for its industry relevance and career opportunities. Events and fests are organized monthly, creating a vibrant campus life. The crowd is diverse, and the surroundings are clean and peaceful. Scholarships like UP and Bihar schemes are accepted, and extracurricular activities, including NSS, NCC, and other groups, enhance personal growth.

Dissatisfied with the placements, faculty, and the infrastructure.
Placements: The college does not offer good placements. The average placement package offered is less than 2 Lacs per annum and the companies are not reliable for long term jobs. The placements department is also not very active, therefore, this college’s placements are not reliable for a good career.
Infrastructure: Hostel and college’s infrastructure is neither too bad nor too good. It's only average with most of the windows being broken, fans are slow in the classrooms and the classrooms don’t have AC availability. Wi-Fi is also very bad in both the hostel and the college.
Faculty: Faculty is not very good, they are only average. The exams are commenced on a daily basis here, they take exams every week. They don’t give time to build relations and preparations, they just take exams all the time. At times they conduct 25 surprise tests, 25 unit tests, 10 mid semester exams, 5 put and then the semester exams (subject wise).

College has some good infrastructure.
Placements: Placement is not good in this college. In my batch, no student from the electronics and communication engineering branch is placed. A few computer science students got placed. The average salary package offered is 6-8 LPA. Infosys, TCS, L&T, and some other companies visit to recruit students.
Infrastructure: Most of the buildings in the premises are old. A few of them are recently constructed, like the multipurpose hall and library. The environment of the library is good, but there is an issue with the timing, as it is generally open only until 4:30 pm. There is no proper canteen on the campus.
Faculty: Teachers are highly experienced and qualified, but they are not that supportive or helpful. Semester exams are not difficult because most of the time the question paper is from previous years. Semester is completed within four months, so they complete the syllabus in a hurry.

I'm not saying the college is bad or anything.
Placements: The chances of placements are a bit low because companies are not that reachable in our college. But, they provide placements in management roles for our course BCA. They offer internships, but they are not that good. As we are entering the field of a technical background, they only provide management-based internships and jobs.
Infrastructure: There are games such as kabaddi, cricket, and badminton are played in our college. There is a very hygienic canteen with tasty and healthy food. Cleanliness is very good, and all staff and students are very humble. They provide a ragging-free campus. Labs and classrooms are large but not equipped with very good air conditioning. Our library is rich with books and provides a very good environment.
Faculty: Our pass percentage is like all other colleges, around 38%, but faculty members are very good. However, the higher authorities, including the principal, are not that understanding. The exams are not difficult, they are of a moderate level of difficulty. I suggest the college may not be suitable for everyone, especially those coming from outside or from areas far away from Kanpur and Unnao.

Very disappointed with the faculty; they force me to pay 100% fees at any cost.
Placements: Here are only a few students getting placed from RD Engineering College. The highest package is 6 LPA, and the average package is about 3.4 LPA. Novoinvent frequently comes because they have a tie-up with RD Engineering College. Only 0.1% of students got internships off-campus.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average; not that good, I would say. There is no Wi-Fi for students, only for faculty. Labs are conducted 4 to 5 times a week. There is no dedicated faculty for the hostel; only a warden is there, and there is also no Wi-Fi in the hostel. The mess food is average, similar to that of another college.
Faculty: Most of the faculty are very rude in nature; they won't grant you any type of leave. If your 100% fees are not submitted, they won't allow you in the classroom, even for semester exams. In the 1st year, there is no problem, but for the rest of the years, they will force you to submit at least 100% fees at the beginning of the semester.
