Q:   How to apply for BTech at BVDU?

A:

To apply for BTech in Bharti Vidyapeeth Deemed University (BVDU), candidates need to appear for the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the university. Candidates who have qualified in the CET and have obtained a rank in the rank list will be called for counseling, where they can choose their preferred BTech programme based on their rank and availability of seats. It is during the counseling process that the final admission decisions are made.

My college is the best college and must take admission in this college.
Placements: Only 10 to 20 percent of students were placed in civil engineering . The 6.7L per year is the highest, 4.6L is the lowest and 5L average package offer for my course. Byjus recruited from my course.
Infrastructure: My college campus is one of the best campus in Pune. The infrastructure and college campus is the best and amezing. Other facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library is the best and more comfortable for all students. Other all the facilities are available in my college.
Faculty: The all the teachers and faculties are best and helping the students and all of them are well qualified and knowledgeable, the teaching is best and helpful to all the students. Course is curriculum relevant and it makes students industry ready. The exam are difficult but the teaching is hard and helpful so exams are so easy for our college students. About 98 to 100 percent students are pass.

Review of College of Engineering, Bharati Vidyapeeth.
Placements: Around 20% of the batch got placed in our college. As civil engineering is a core branch, not many companies visit for campus recruitment. However, a lot of the students got placed off-campus. Almost 100% of the students got internships at reputed organisations. Top role offered is of a junior engineer.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure were good. We got access to all the latest equipment and technologies. The hostel was only for the 1st year for boys, however, there were good private hostels outside the campus. The college had multiple canteens which offered good food.
Faculty: Almost all the teachers were helpful and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant to the industry standard. The college made us industry-ready. The semester exams were based on the curriculum taught and were easy.

I am satisfied with good placements in 2019-2020 except in core department and good infrastructure.
Placements: About 7-8% of the students from the civil stream are currently placed. The highest salary package offered by Infosys was 3.5 LPA while core company named Deepak Fertilizers offered a salary package of 3.10 LPA during the training period of 12 months. Top recruiting companies which are visiting college are LTI, Deepak Fertilizers and Infosys. Graduate engineer trainee role was offered in the core company. All the students get the opportunity to do an internship from college, but they will recommend the company to college accordingly, students get an internship. Our college provides a fair bit of opportunity to get placed in companies.
Infrastructure: Library, gym and Wi-Fi are available here, but it is of no use. The hostel is provided to only first-year students according to merit numbers. The civil department is well-equipped with machines for performing practical like a universal testing machine and other equipment. Quality and taste of the food served is average. Canteen also serves food and snacks to students and faculty members at reasonable rates. There is a hospital of Bharti Vidyapeeth on the campus. College ground is good and huge enough to play games like football, basketball court, volleyball and cricket.
Faculty: Teachers here are helpful in the attendance part, but they are not well-knowledgeable. Except for 2-3 experience faculty members, everyone is not well-equipped with knowledge. Students have to study most of the subjects on their own or have to join coaching classes for clearing their semester.
Other: I have chosen this course because of my personal interest in megastructure. Civil engineering is an interesting field, which will provide an opportunity of having a core degree. Extracurricular activities keep taking place like Bhartiya, Malhar, and some festivals.

    Good infrastructure. Good placement.
Placements: The placement was good. The training and placement cell has approached various companies. Good companies tie up with the college. The training facility is good with a well-qualified trainer from the best institute, and they conduct demo interviews. Before the placement, the average salary offered is 3-4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The labs were good, and good quality equipment is available in this college. The college has a nice furniture. There are good classrooms. The college has Wi-Fi, labs, 24hrs library, open sports facility with gym and swimming. The college has a ground with courts of basketball and tennis court trainer. The medical facilities are good, and the hospital is just nearby the college.
Faculty: The faculty are helpful, cooperative, and understanding. The course structure is well-designed. The faculty are highly educated, highly qualified, and with wide knowledge. The college syllabus is such that all the engineering prospect are cleared, and the knowledge is gained with a good practical explanation.

The college has a good infrastructure and facilities, but it lacks in placement.
Placements: The placement of branches like CS/electronics/ENTC/IT are good as many software companies are established in Pune, but for branches like civil/ mechanical/ electrical/production, the placement is not much as expected. For the chemical branch, the placement is average.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. It has 5-floor library building, which has the internet facility for students. As the civil department is concerned, the labs are good having all the equipment. There is a separate building for mechanical and production department.
Faculty: I don't know about other branches, but as far as the civil department is concerned, the faculty members are good. The faculty members are well-qualified having a minimum degree of M.Tech, and they always support the students. The course curriculum is designed itself by the university and is upgraded time to time-based on the requirement in the construction industry. Regular industry visit is scheduled for the students in which the applications of what is taught in the class is seen clearly.
Other: The college has an entrepreneurship cell and network security group, which organise various events in the college. The annual fest is held every year at a big level. The various clubs like Leo Club and Rotaract club are there, which also organise the various events. The connectivity of the campus is good as it situated in the Pune-Satara highway and anyone can get connectivity easily to airport or railway station. The city bus stop of college is there to connect it locally. The surrounding of the college is good, and on the back side of the college, all the daily needs of the students like hostels, mess, grocery, gym, and stationary are available.

After the ITI course, the student can pursue a diploma course through lateral entry, which will take three years to complete. The second step is to sit for JEE Advanced after completing the Diploma course, after which the student is eligible to get admission in the IITs. If this method does not work
