Frequently Asked Questions

Q:   Is CUH good for M.Sc.?

A:
{Source: M.Sc. students & alumni}

M.Sc.: Is CUH good for M.Sc?

* Pros:
+ Faculty members are well-qualified and knowledgeable in their respective fields.
+ Course curriculum is relevant and industry-ready.
+ Infrastructure is good, with well-maintained labs, libraries, and hostels.
+ Campus life is friendly and culturally diverse.
+ Placement support is satisfactory, with top recruiters like Infosys, TCS, and Samsung.
* Cons:
+ Placement ratio is average, with only one or two students getting placed.
+ Limited opportunities for direct placements in the M.Sc. course.
+ Some students felt that the professors did not teach everything needed for the course, requiring additional self-study.

Overall, CUH appears to offer a good environment for studying M.Sc., with knowledgeable faculty, relevant course content, and decent infrastructure. While placements might not be exceptional, students can still leverage the university's connections and skills gained during the programme to secure positions. However, students should be prepared to supplement their learning with additional efforts beyond what is taught in classes.

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

    It is a perfect college for enjoyment, education and self-promotion.
    Placements: The course offered by the university is new and relevant. I am currently studying in the 2nd semester, and this month I will get a Diploma in BMS. Almost 50% of students get the opportunity after graduation to do a job in various companies like Domino's and Jubilant Pharma. All students get the opportunity for internships in various Purna companies, and the students are sent by the college after each semester. The average salary package offered is 1.5 LPA, and it increases after 1 year of experience. There are thousands of job roles in the field of Chemistry and Biology. So most of the research fields are associated with our course.
    Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the university is outstanding and environment friendly. It has a vast area of campus. The campus is spread over 500 acres. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned, and a Wi-Fi facility is also available. A library is also available with more than 10,000 books. Laboratories are fully technical and scientifically approved with all facilities. University has vast grounds for each sport and games event. There is a primary health centre on the campus. It has a well-facilitated mess with a good menu. The hostel has 3-sharing rooms for students.
    Faculty: Teachers in our college are highly qualified. They are PhD holders in different subjects. Their quality of teaching is outstanding and student-friendly. They are preparing students for industry. Semester exams are average as most of the students are passing out from the university. Almost 95% is the pass percentage.
    Other: I have chosen this course because this course is a combination of Biology and Chemistry, and it connects all the fields of science. It has various job opportunities in different fields. A little bit of improvement is needed in the theory part as it is a little light and make it slightly hard. Every year university organises its foundation day as a cultural programme named Spandan for consecutively 3 days in which various cultural programmes from different states are performed by students. Campus life is outstanding. It conducts all the extracurricular activities like sports, arts, social service, etc.
