Overall, the college is good, but there is a problem with attendance.
Placements: 70% placement, 60,000 average, 2 Lac the highest, 10 to 15 Lac developed: Graphics Designer, etc. The course was good and very valuable for money. There should work on your experience, and you can join companies by your experience, skills, and knowledge. The course offered good offers for that.
Infrastructure: There are all facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, good classrooms, and library. The quality of the facilities was very good. Food was available and good and hygienic. Medical facilities are also good. I didn’t play games or sports, but there are facilities for games.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful and helped us improve our skills and grow fast. They were very knowledgeable and qualified. Teaching quality was very good. Yes, they make students industry-ready, but students must have the ability and guts to do bigger things in this line.
Other: I wanted to become a web designer, so I joined this course. My course was very interesting, and I enjoyed it, but there was a problem with attendance.

Pros and cons CU BCA in 2024.
Placements: The internship can lead to 10k-20k per month or more, according to the sources. I don't know much about the internship strategy things. 150 companies visited for recruitment, and many students got their placement offer. A software engineer can get up to 40 LPA, and 4-6 LPA starting.
Infrastructure: There are too many clubs, associations. Every 2-3 days, there's a program or something going on inside the university. You will find something somewhere, no matter what. Also, you get sports and extracurricular opportunities in university in a wide range. The hostel facility is also good. AC/cooler rooms are available. The meal is not ideal, but canteens are good. Registration of hostels is easy. Yes, it is affordable. There are many PGs, flats near CU, you can live there too.
Faculty: Faculty members are too good. They are ready to help you with your work, studies, stress too. They are not much harsh on the students. SEE teachers' qualifications aren't a good thing to tell because the way they prepared their students for the career that itself is their quality of time and qualifications. There is regular class assessment, midterm, and end term.

The college is good with basic facilities available.
Placements: Placement facilities are available in this college. Average package of BCA is 5-6 lacks per annum in this college. The college supports everyone get placements. The lowest package of BCA is 2-3 lacs per annum in this college. Placements are not good since 2021, very few students get placed. Around 45 to 50% students are placed in our academic year with 5.5LPA being the highest package.
Infrastructure: We have smart boards and laboratories in good conditions in the college. The faculty is very supportive and they are very well versed in the domain. The living space is very clean and hygienic, they maintain it very well.
Faculty: The studies are very good in this college. Some teachers have good knowledge while the others have average knowledge. BCA is a very famous course in this college. I studied BCA in this college because I am very passionate about this field. The teaching quality of the faculty is very good but some lecturers are not up to the mark. Somehow, we can manage all this but our education system is not very good. They teach us using a very old technology.

Good infrastructure but no experienced teachers are there.
Placements: 1) The percentage of students who were placed in Chandigarh University is 40 percent. 2) The highest package is 54.75 LPA, the average is 4 LPA, and the average is 9 LPA. 3) The top recruitment companies are Microsoft, Google, IBM, etc. 4) The top role offered in my course is full-stack developer.
Infrastructure: 1) The facilities and infrastructure available for the course are overall good because infrastructure is good but the facilities are not so good. 2) The quality of the facilities in the hostel is average; the quality of food is average but the canteen is above average.
Faculty: 1) In that university, teachers are helpful in nature and in study but they are not so experienced. 2) They are just focused on completing their syllabus only. It doesn't make the students industry-ready. 3) The semester exam in this college is not so difficult and the pass percentage is 80 percent.
Other: 1) I chose this course because of their good advertisement. 2) Experienced teachers should be there. 3) All those things are good except teachers because teachers are not experienced.

Great infrastructure and faculty support.
Placements: Chandigarh University has a good placement record for its BCA students, with 85-90% getting placed. The highest package is 30-35 LPA, the average is 6-7 LPA, and the lowest is 3-4 LPA. Top recruiters include Wipro, Infosys, TCS, IBM, etc. 70-80% of students secure internships with roles like Web Developer and Software Developer.
Infrastructure: Chandigarh University offers well-equipped labs, Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, and a vast library for BCA students. The hostels are clean with good amenities. The mess and canteen food is hygienic, and the campus provides 24/7 medical care and excellent sports facilities.
Faculty: The BCA teachers at Chandigarh University are qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive, ensuring good teaching quality. The curriculum is relevant, preparing students for the industry. Exams are moderately tough, and the pass percentage is around 85-90%.
Other: I chose BCA at Chandigarh University for its industry-aligned curriculum and practical exposure. The best parts are the qualified faculty and modern labs. More industry-specific workshops would be beneficial. The campus is lively with events, good connectivity, scholarships, and many extracurriculars.

Review of BCA in Chandigarh University.
Placements: You will be asked if you want to enroll in placement during your final year. If you choose yes, you will get opportunities. But for BCA, it's not much; better go for a Masters. If you still want, you can register and you will get a decent number of opportunities. The highest placement was around 24 lpa.
Infrastructure: Hostel rooms are not good compared to the price and there are a lot of restrictions on when you can enter and stay. But it is more safe inside campus, so it depends on your needs. You also get a lot of affordable PG's near campus. The labs are AC equipped and Wi-Fi is enabled all around the campus.
Faculty: The course curriculum is decent; it has all the basic subjects during the first year, like OOPS and digital electronics. Then you can also choose some electives based on your interests. I chose cybersecurity because it was good. The pass percentage last year was around 80% and the teachers are also good.
