I have satisfactory experience because of the infrastructure, faculty members and facilities.
Placements: For students who opted for placements, there are frequent interviews from different companies. This semester only one student from our batch got placed so far. Many interviews are also scheduled in the coming days. Roles offered from our course include content development for various companies, R and D departments and factories.
Infrastructure: Our college facilities are amazing. We have all the modern technologies in the college. Wi-Fi is free to all students, but the websites are restricted to avoid unnecessary browsing of other websites. Labs are equipped with all the modern instruments. The library is open to all the students, and an e-library option is also available. I heard that the hostel and food are good, but I don't stay in the hostel.
Faculty: Faculty members in the life science department are well-qualified and very knowledgeable about all the topics. The syllabus is designed based on the standard textbooks available. The quality of teaching is amazing. The course curriculum is much relevant to the modern world. The syllabus includes aspects that make students ready for industries and also for competitive exams like NET. The practical syllabus is compiled in a way that helps us in industries.
Other: I have chosen this course because of my interest in zoology and ornithology. The course syllabus could be made better by adding more field visits for zoology. Events, fests, etc., are not enjoyed by M.Sc students as we don't have time for them. It is a major setback for the course.

Good infrastructure. Possibility to explore. Mostly self-study is needed which is too much burden.
Placements: The placement percentage is quite low—13 percent in my stream. The average package is not disclosed, and for zoology, only placement from Aakash came. So I guess the package provided by the Aakash Institute would be the package. The top recruiting company was Aakash Institute. For internships, students have to search for them themselves, and there is no facility that the college has in collaboration with companies or labs to provide internships for students. After completing your master's, you can go into teaching as a professor, or if you have a B.Ed., you can go into school teaching. You can also research further as a researcher.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is really good, with good maintenance and cleanliness. WiFi is available only in libraries for study purposes, and social media cannot be used. Labs are well maintained with good equipment in functional condition. Classrooms are spacious and comfortable, with ventilation. The library has a vast collection of books and is easily accessible. The hostel is quite strict. Entry time is 9 p.m. The attendance system is very strict and imposes huge fines if you are late, even by a minute. I haven't stayed in a hostel, but I have heard that the food is not good. Medical facilities are available. For sports, there are two football fields and four Korean basketball courts. There are basketball tournaments as well.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified, but mainly it is self-study. PowerPoint is the main source of teaching. At some point, you may feel that you are coming only for attendance. The course syllabus is very nice. It has various subjects. This is one thing I really like, as it increases your knowledge and lets you explore various other fields. Zoology is less preferred by industry. So that always remains a problem. But after doing an internship and gaining experience, it might get easier. Semester exams are easy. Questions are directly from the syllabus, but the paper is lengthy. Sometimes the question paper may be tough, but if you have studied, it will be fine. The pass percentage is 35%.
