BAMU Aurangabad Highlights 2024

Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (BAMU) formerly known as Marathwada University is one of the best universities in the country. It is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and has been accredited by the NAAC with Grade ‘A’. The university has 428 affiliated colleges that are situated in four districts (Aurangabad, Jalna, Beed, and Osmanabad) of Maharashtra State. In the NIRF 2023 Ranking, BAMU Aurangabad was ranked 151 in the 'University' category, and 48 ranks were achieved by The Week 2023. BAMU has signed MoUs with international universities such as University of Sannio Italy and Southern Federal University Russia to strengthen its academic.

Established in 1958, BAMU Aurangabad is a state-level, public university. Aurangabad Marathwada University has more than 55 departments that collectively offer more than 200 courses at UG, PG, and doctoral levels. All these courses are UGC-approved and are offered across four fields, including Science and Technology, Commerce and Management, Humanities, and Interdisciplinary Studies. The university also offers distance education. Popular courses at BAMU Aurangabad include BE/ BTech, BSc, MTech, and MBA.
