    Great college with good people.
Placements: The top recruiting companies here were Infosys, Bureau Veritas, Cipla, etc., which visit the college to offer placements. Approximately 98% of students got internships. All students got summer internships through campus placements, from which around 40% secured jobs.
Infrastructure: The university also provides Wi-Fi all over the campus, good quality hostels, smart classes, and a huge library. There are buildings like monuments. Students enjoy here very much. The mess is also very delicious and affordable. The hostels provide satisfactory accommodation, serving a wide range of nutritious meals.
Faculty: Our course curriculum mainly focuses on making students industry-ready when they pass out of college. Teachers are very helpful, friendly, and the training and practicals are excellent as they help us to grow. The teachers possess both qualifications and expertise. They are very knowledgeable. It makes the students industry-ready with proper knowledge. The semester exams in this college are very difficult because the chances of back papers are higher here.

DTU is a great university with the best campus life and placement.
Placements: Placement is good; the average package for M.Sc. courses is 7 to 8 lakhs per annum. Students are eligible for PPOs and internships from the final year or 3rd semester onwards. Proper guidance and training are also given. The curriculum prepares you for jobs in research, pharmaceuticals, and edtech.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure-wise, DTU is a very good university. The campus is delightful and beautiful with greenery and a good atmosphere. All facilities like medical services, mess, canteen, cafe, and a stationery shop are available on campus. Classes and labs are air-conditioned, and the library is excellent.
Faculty: For my course, I can say the faculty is very well-trained and highly educated from top institutions. Faculty have a great command of subjects, and all faculty members are very down-to-earth and always ready to help students whenever guidance and help are needed. The semester syllabus is good and standard, and the passing percentage is high, as almost all syllabus is covered by teachers.
Other: Great campus life and atmosphere, with festivals being a highlight (Engifest being one of the best fests in Delhi). Placement is good, with scholarships available for students. The curriculum is great and prepares us well for future research and edtech jobs.

Review of DTU - Delhi Technological University.
Placements: The placement cell of DTU is very active and hardworking. A lot of companies visit the campus for recruitment. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. Around 15 out of 50 students got placed in our batch with decent salary packages. Companies like Havells, Akash Byju's, Perfect, and Edoofa recruited for profiles like business analyst, research assistant, subject matter expert, and junior analyst.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of DTU is holy and beautiful. It has one of the best campuses, which includes an open-air theater, a canteen, and food points like Nescafe, MicMac, and Amul. The chemistry department is well-built and well-organised. All classrooms are very spacious and air-conditioned. The Wi-Fi connectivity on campus is of good range. The library of our college is not less than any hotel as it is very spacious and filled with lacs of books. It is very clean and air-conditioned. The hostel facility is very good. The quality of the food in the mess is good and provides a variety of food items. Students get food 4 times a day, which includes breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. The campus has a lot of societies like dance, music, fashion, and different sports.
Faculty: The chemistry department teachers are very knowledgeable and experienced. Most of them have more than 10 years of experience. They are post-doc holders. They are not much helpful. They are well-qualified. Master's of chemistry provides many opportunities in different sectors, which includes food and nutrition, pharmaceutical, and teaching. Exams are held twice a semester. One is the mid-semester exam, and another is the final semester exam. Exams are not much difficult to pass. If you want to score well, you need a lot of dedication and consistency to achieve that. The pass percentage is more than 90% in our batch.
Other: I opted for this course because I want to join FSSAI for my future endeavors. Working at FSSAI as a food analyst has been my dream for which the eligibility criteria is M.Sc. in chemistry or biochemistry or microbiology. Our college should improve its laboratories and should provide the more required equipment. Our college should increase the lab faculty members. The crowd is very hipster, well-educated, and well-behaved. The annual fest has been the most talked about topic on campus.

    Students also asked

Q:   Is there an entrance conducted by DTU for admission?

    A:

No, DTU does not conduct any entrance exam of its own for admission to any of the UG, PG or doctoral-level courses. Admission for the flagship BTech programme is based on JEE Main scores and the entire process of counselling are conducted by JAC Delhi. Further, DTU admission to all the remaining courses is mostly based on national/ university-level entrance exams, such as UCEED,  GATE,  CAT,  MAT and CMAT, among others. However, there are a few MBA specialised courses and BBA, admission to which is offered based on the past qualifying exam  (UG level) followed by an interview round.

Q:   I have scored less than 60% in 12th boards. Can I get admission for B.Tech at DTU?

    A:

To be eligible for applying to BTech admission at DTU, candidates must meet the minimum eligibility criteria specified by the university. For BTech admission, a candidate must have passed Class 12 with minimum 60%  aggregate with PCM and English Core as subjects. The minimum aggregate for various reserved categories is 50%-55%. Hence, whether the candidate is eligible to apply for BTech admission at DTU depends on their reservation category.

However, meeting the eligibility criteria does not gurantee admission at the university. The seat allocation is based on the applicant's score in JEE Main, followed by the JAC couselling. In case a candidate fails to secure a seat for BTech at DTU, they can check out other colleges offering ofline and online BTech courses.

Q:   Can I get admission in DTU through JEE Mains with 76.98 percentile?

    A:

Usually, the cutoff for DTU stays around 90, even for the reserved categories. Therefore, getting into B.Tech courses at DTU is difficult with a JEE Main percentile score of 90 or below. The cutoff also goes high and low every year, depending on the following factors:

    • Number of aspirants registered
    • The difficulty level of the exam
    • Total number of seats available
    • Total number of applications received for a particular program
    • Category under which admission is sought

Therefore, it is very difficult to predict the exact cutoff and give an exact answer to this question. Students can, however, use this college predictor created by Shiksha to know the college they can get with their JEE Main score.
