Placements: Placement-wise, EE is safer than ME, CE, etc. core branches because mostly all companies allow EE students to sit in placements. The highest package of EE is 1.2 crores, the lowest is 15 LPA, and the average is 21 LPA. Top recruiting companies are generally teaching companies like Microsoft, etc. Also, 80% of students got internships in the 5th or 7th semester.
Placements: Placement point of view, IT is comparable to CSE. About 80% of IT students get placed every year. The highest package of IT is 1.3 crore, the lowest is 17 LPA, and the average is 21 LPA. And in IT, students got internships in their 2nd or 3rd year easily. The top recruiting companies are tech giants.
Placements: Placement-wise, ECE is comparable to CSE. About 70% of ECE students get placed every year. The top companies for which students are generally technical. Also, it is quite easy to get an internship in ECE in the 2nd or 3rd year. Top roles offered are like web developer, Web designer, etc.
Placements: Placement-wise, CSE is the best among all other branches. About 80% of CSE students get placed every year. The highest package for CSE is 1.2 crores, the lowest is 17 LPA, and the average is 24 LPA. Top recruiting companies are tech giants like Google, etc. Students also easily secure internships in the 2nd or 3rd year. The internship ratio is 70% in CSE at DTU.
Placements: 80% of CSE students got placed every year. Generally, students got placed in tech giants like Google, Microsoft, etc. And in CSE, students also got internships by referrals; about 70% of students got an intern in 2nd or 3rd year. Top roles offered are generally Web designer, Web developer, etc.
Placements: In my course, mechanical engineering, 70% of students get placed every year. The highest package offered is 82 LPA, with an average package around 25 LPA. Top recruiters include Bajaj, Honda, and many more. Internships are skill-based; whoever learns a skill, there are lots of opportunities in college to get those.
Placements: The placement percentage of CE is 50-60%; it is quite harder for CE students to get placement in tech companies. The highest package of CSE is 1.2 crores, the lowest is 11 LPA, and the average is 16 LPA. Also, in CE, students got internships in the 3rd year in core and in tech startups.
Placements: The pass percentage of CSE is the highest, and it is 80-90%. We have 7 batches in CSE and around 500 students every year. The highest package of CSE is 1.2 crores, the lowest is 18 LPA, and the average is 24 LPA. Top recruiting companies are generally Tech giants. Also, 60-70% of students got internships in CSE. Top roles offered are Web developer, Web designer, etc.
Placements: The placement percentage of MEEV is 60-70% which is far better than CE placement stats. Firstly, I was in CE but I upgraded my branch because it is quite easier to get placement in MEEV because tech companies allowed ME students not CE. Top recruiting companies are generally, Teach giants like Google, etc. And in ME and MEEV 60-70% students got internship in 2nd or 3rd year.
Placements: Placement ratio and stats of EE are quite good. About 75% of EE students got placed every year. The highest package of EE is 1.2 crores, the lowest is 16 LPA, and the average is 21 LPA. Top recruiting companies are generally tech giants. Also, many students in many batches get internships in the 2nd or 3rd year. So, for tech jobs, you should definitely choose EE at DTU over ME, EP, and other core branches.
Placements: Currently I am in the 4th year in DTU CSE. Placement CSE is best of all societies and it is quite easy to get placement in CSE. About 80% of CSE students got placed every year. The highest package of CSE is 1.4 crores, the lowest is 15 LPA and average is 21 LPA. Top recruiting companies are generally Tech giants like Google, Microsoft, etc. Also about 60-70% students got internship in CSE in 2nd or 3rd year. Top roles offered are Web developer, etc.
Placements: The placements at Delhi Technological University are quite satisfactory. In the previous year, approximately 58% of the students in the automotive branch secured placements. The average package offered in this branch was decent, standing at around 10 LPA. I am aware of a mechanical engineering student who landed a job at Microsoft with a package of approximately 1.09 crores.
Placements: Companies like Hdfc, Bajaj finance and Godrej recruit from our college. Placement are good here. These companies offers internships and full time job role. Average package is 8 LPA in our course. Companies select students on the basis of their academic performance and interview.
Placements: The average package of the college is good, and the median is also good as the number of students has increased. Now, the crowd is less hardworking, but still, the placement rate is good. I must say, for top branches like CS, IT, SE, MAC, and ECE, you will not find any problem. If you acquire skills and maintain a CGPA of 8.2 or higher, you will be placed, but aim for a CGPA of 8.5 or higher.
Placements: 75 percent of students get placed in this course, and the rest of the students opt for higher studies. Major recruiters like Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, Teach Mahindra, Bain and Company, Google, all the well-known companies, are visiting our college. Roles offered to freshers include positions like associate engineer.
Placements: Placement-wise, SE is better than CSE. About 70% of SE students were placed in 2023. The highest package of SE is 82 LPA, the lowest is 14 LPA and the average is 21 LPA. Top recruiting companies are generally tech giants. Also, 70% of students got internships in their third year. The top roles offered are CO, web developer, web designer, etc.
Placements: Placement-wise, SE is better than ECE and EE. The highest package of SE is 1.3 crores, the lowest is 12 LPA, and the average is 17 LPA. Generally, students get tech placements. Also, 70% of students in SE got internships in the 3rd year. Top roles offered are generally CO, web developer, JavaScript writer, etc.
Placements: Placement perceptive EE is better than ME and other core branches. But it's hard to study EE. The highest package of EE is 1.3 crores, the lowest is 14 LPA and the average is 21 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Tech Gains, etc. 70% of students got internships in EE by the third year. The top roles offered are web developer, web designer, co-developer, etc.
Placements: Mechanical Engineering (ME) outperforms other core branches in terms of placement opportunities, with a high percentage of ME students securing core jobs. The maximum salary package for ME graduates reaches 94 LPA in certain companies, while the minimum stands at 9 LPA, with an average of 18 LPA. ME students also find it relatively easy to secure internships through referrals, with approximately 50% of students obtaining internships by their third year.
Placements: Placement-wise, CSE > IT > SE > ECE. Approximately 70% of students got placed in ECE. The highest package for ECE is 94 LPA, the lowest is 14 LPA, and the average is 19 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Tech giants. Also, about 50% of students got internships in Tech companies like Google, Microsoft, etc. Top roles offered are web developer, web designer, etc.
