The latest DU BSc placements statistics are not available as of now. As per theNIRF report 2024, out of 266 UG three-year students, 190 were placed. The median package offered was INR 5.5 LPA. Delhi University cut off is released for each college and is based on a number of factors, including the number of applications received for the course, the difficult level of the exam for admission to the course, and the availability of seats. Delhi University offers admission to its affiliated colleges through multiple entrance exams. Candidates seeking admission to Delhi University colleges must appear for the required exam in order to be eligible for the candidate. 

The most popular specialisations offered under BSc (Hons) include Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Computer Science, among various others. However, the popularity and choice of the course must depend on students' interest and academic background. At the undergraduate level, the University of Delhi offers BSc (Hons) across over 10 specialisations which offer merit-based admission to the students up until 2021. However, starting 2022, DU admission to all the UG courses are conducted via CUET UG. CUET-UG is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the NTA for admission to all undergraduate courses in various central universities, including the University of Delhi.

CUET scores are used for admission to both BSc (Hons) and BSc (General) programmes, weightage of which in the overall admission process varies as per the college and the course under DU. In addition to the CUET scores, DU colleges also consider other factors, such as the candidate's performance in Class 12 or equivalent exams, their extracurricular activities, and their interview performance.

CUET UG 2025 exam will be conducted tentatively in third week of May 2025. NTA will release the official notification for CUET UG exam date before the release of notification. Candidates will be able to know exam details through CUET UG information bulletin. NTA will conduct CUET UG 2025 exam in multiple phases depending upon the number of candidates registering for the exam. Registered candidates will know the exact CUET UG exam on release of the hall ticket. CUET UG 2025 exam will be a hybrid mode i.e., candidates will have to report at the alloted exam centre on the day of the examination. The exam will be held in two to three slots each day depending upon the subject combinations chosen by the candidate.

DU was recently ranked #328 in the 'University' category by QS World Ranking 2025 and 11 by NIRF in 2023. The university is not ranked for any major course such as BSc, however, it consistently gets ranked for the 'University' category by NIRF over the past years. Delhi University offer BSc through its colleges that are situated in different parts of Delhi. The atmosphere/life of a student can vary depending upon the location of the college, whether it is a off campus college or in the north/south campus. Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2025 registration will commence in the last week of February 2025. NTA will release the CUET 2025 notification. Soon after the release of the notification, the CUET registration 2025 process will commence online at cuetug-ac.ntaonline.in. Candidates willing to appear for the CUET 2025 exam must ensure that they fill out the application form online. CUET 2025 registration will end in the first week of April 2025. Further to the last date, candidates will not be able to fill out the CUET application form. No request for extension of CUET registration until the last date will be entertained.

Before filling out the application form, candidates must ensure they fulfil the prescribed CUET eligibility criteria to qualify for the entrance exam. 

The total tuition fee for BSc courses at DU-affiliated colleges ranges between INR 540 and INR 2.4 lakh. This variation is available due to the different specialisations that are offered at different DU affiliated colleges.

DU University registrations via CUET usually begins in February every year. Soon after the release of the notification, the CUET application process commences online. Yes, CUET application fee was revised in 2024. The CUET registration fee will be updated on release of the CUET notification. Earlier, CUET application fee was revised with the reduction on choice of subjects for CUET exam. NTA will commence CUET UG 2024 registrations at cuetug-ac.ntaonline.in..
