The review of Galgotias University of the department of engineering.
Placements: We were the first batch to graduate from this college, so we did not expect much from the university, but the university did good in placing students with top MNCs like Wipro, Cognizant, Infosys, etc. They visited the campus, and as expected, came for bulk recruitment and took most of the students. Almost every student in my batch got placed. The average package offered was around 2-3 LPA. The ROI offered is not that good, but at least 90 per cent of the students get placed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is state of the art and more like a mall. The classrooms are spacious and fully air-conditioned. The canteen is good, and there are a variety of vendors within the campus. A ground for football, cricket and all kinds of sports is available. The campus is full of greenery. Indoor games facility is also available. In all campuses, the infrastructure is good.
Faculty: The faculty are good and highly educated. Every faculty member has ample knowledge in their field. All the teachers were very supportive. Having 75 per cent attendance is compulsory, and the university sticks to it religiously. If we fail to maintain 75 per cent attendance, we'll be debarred.
Other: The university provides all the necessary things required for peaceful studies, and the only drawback is that it is in the outskirts of Greater Noida; so commuting can be a problem.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty and placements.
Placements: The placements are good if you have no backlogs. You can easily get placement, in fact, we get proper training for how to give an interview and what are the possible ways by which we can crack an interview. 80% of my batch mates got placement in the reputed organisations while others had different plans.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, and it is improving on a daily basis. The library is full of all the latest and improvised books. The medical facilities are good, an ambulance is always there for the service. The security is quite high. The sports and games activities are conducted every month. There is a spacious place for seating.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified, knowledgeable and helpful. They are polite and strict too at the same time. Proper guidance is provided for the students who are interested in creative engineering. The course is always completed on time, in fact, the extra classes are arranged for students.

Other: Galgotias University has a good infrastructure with well-resourced labs. The faculty is good and supportive, if you want to think differently, they will support you. The placements need a mention, companies like Cognizant, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra and Ericsson are the annual mass recruiters. You will get helpful seniors in this university. Many canteens and cafeterias are there in the university. Hostel facilities at Galgotias are good as compared to the hostels/PGs in Greater Noida.

Other: This college is good in the field of education and technology. Since it had a good infrastructure and building but then also it need some modification. All the lecture are provided with smart teaching technology and the microphone included in it. Also practical labs consists of latest technology equipment and systems. The drawback I feel is the ventilation system of our college but now it is under the work. Lecturer are very experienced and have good practical knowledge of their subjects.
