Supportive Faculty but Limited Placements and Facilities.
Placements: Placements in our course are disappointing, with only 10-15% of students placed. The highest package offered was around 4-5 LPA, but the average remains at 2-3 LPA, with most students getting roles in sales. Internships are limited to 20-25% of students, primarily in sales and business development. Reputed companies rarely visit, with local startups dominating the recruitment process. There’s a lack of opportunities in diverse fields like marketing, HR, or analytics. Students need to rely on self-efforts to secure better roles, as the placement cell needs significant improvement in connection with top recruiters.
Infrastructure: The campus is small but has improved infrastructure with basic facilities like Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, a library, and well-equipped labs for academic needs. However, there is no hostel facility, so students from distant areas must arrange PGs or flats nearby. The campus has a single canteen offering average food options. Medical facilities are limited, and there’s no dedicated on-campus health center. The college organizes an annual sports day once a year, but regular sports facilities and activities are minimal.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified, knowledgeable, and very helpful, providing guidance throughout the semester. I pursued B.Com (Honours), which is a good option after 12th for building a strong foundation in commerce. The course curriculum is decent but could be more aligned with industry requirements to make students job-ready. Semester exams are fair, and teachers assist students well in understanding concepts and preparing for exams. The pass percentage is satisfactory, with most students managing to clear exams with proper effort and guidance. Overall, the academic environment is supportive, but the curriculum update could enhance industry relevance.

    Great college life and placements.
Placements: The placement cell of the business department at VIPS is very active. They are able to get worthy placements for final-year students. They also get internship opportunities for 1st and 2nd year students, which helps them get pre-placement offers and live a planned life ahead.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at VIPS is good. It's top-notch and way better than other colleges in the Delhi region. The only downside is that there's no on-campus housing, but there are plenty of PGs available nearby at reasonable prices. Overall, VIPS is a great college for students.
Faculty: The faculty is very well qualified, and the curriculum is up to date and prepares students for the workplace. Internal exams are held once a semester and are about the same level as external exams. The overall staff is very supportive.
Other: College life at VIPS is very great as various types of events take place every month.

The worst faculty I saw anywhere.
Placements: Placement from my college is quite average, as 20–25% students get placement from this college and the top recruiting companies were MCKINLEY RICE, CVENT, THE MUTHOOT GROUP, AMAZON INDIA, etc. The top roles which were offered were investigation specials, customer care executive, junior relationship executive, management trainee- (sales), credit, etc. The top package from our batch was 10 lakh CTC.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is quite average our classes was bigger as compared to other one. A library was there in our college. We don't have any hostel facilities, and overall, the college was too small for any other activities such as fest, sports, etc. The canteen facility of our college was very good and space in canteen was also good for students to sit and relax .
Faculty: To be very honest, the college faculty were not as helpful that I expected, except some teachers and the college teachers were not highly qualified and just had done M.Com. or other PG course. I chose B.Com. (Hons.) for my undergraduate course as it helped me in the fields of commerce, finance, accounts, and business, so it helped me a lot. The semester exam were not that hard; it was easy to pass and the passing percentage is around 95% .
Other: I chose Bachelor of commerce (hons) for my undergraduate degree because it provides knowledge in the field of commerce, accounting, business, finance, and economics, and I wanted to pursue these topics for my higher studies That's why I chose B.Com. (Hons). Things that could be improved in this course are that more practical work and less theory work should be there. There were many fest done in our college, like Diwali, fest, Ganpati fest, Christmas fest, etc.

They have really good food in the canteen.
Placements: Between 50%-70% of students were placed in my course. The highest was 4 LPA, the lowest was 2 LPA, and the average was 3 LPA. Amazon, Asian Paints, Genpact, Godrej, Dell, Deloitte, and Everest. Around 55% of students in FIMT got internships from B.Com (H). Sales Manager, Human Resource Management, and Business Analyst are the top roles offered in my course.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are more than average. They do not provide Wi-Fi in classrooms but provide it in the library. FIMT does not provide hostels, hostel food, or mess food. They do have canteens; actually, there are two canteens—one is in the parking area and one is inside the campus. Both serve good food.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, qualified from well-reputed colleges, and knowledgeable. You will not find the teaching that helpful as they just complete their syllabus within time. If you want good marks in college, they do provide books that are helpful, and even GGSIPU provides various links that make studying easier.
Other: I completed my 12th and didn’t find anything, so I chose B.Com (H). B.Com is easy if you have done 11th and 12th well; you can pass all the exams. Infrastructure is one area where FIMT falls behind. Events happen continuously, whether they are on a small or large scale. Connectivity is good, but campus surroundings are where they lack. They do provide scholarships, etc.

    Maharaja surajmal Institute.
Placements: The placement record at Maharaja Surajmal Institute is reputed to be the best among colleges under the GGSIPU University. Top companies like Wipro and Google come to the campus for placements and the placement percentage here is very good.
Infrastructure: Our course is supported by state-of-the-art infrastructure, including modern classrooms equipped with smart technology, advanced laboratories, and a well-stocked library with digital resources. The campus features dedicated space for collaborative learning, research, and innovation, fostering academic excellence. High-speed internet connectivity ensures seamless access to online resources and tools.
Faculty: Our course features a distinguished faculty with extensive academic and industry experience, ensuring expert guidance and mentorship. The curriculum is meticulously designed to balance theoretical foundation with practical applications, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

    A comprehensive review of VIPS.
Placements: About 70% of students got placed in my course. The highest package offered was 12 LPA and the minimum was 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies in my course are Wipro and Infosys. The roles offered in my course are finance, manager, accountant, etc. And the pay scale is also quite good.
Infrastructure: The campus has good Wi-Fi indoors. The classrooms do get quite crowded, but the library has the best collection of books and a calm, peaceful environment. The food in the cafeteria is not very good; it's just about fine. As for sports, there is a field for football, cricket, volleyball, basketball and facilities for indoor games as well.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful but they are not very strict. If you have doubts, you'll have to reach out to them. They are experts in their subject. The curriculum is relevant but after completing the course, you'll need some experience to be industry-ready. The semester is not very hard, and the exams are average. Most of the students pass the exams with ease.
Other: I chose this course as I had taken commerce in school and it has good opportunities. There's nothing that I'd want to improve in the course; I would just ask for more interactiveness. The events are fun and the college does provide opportunities to socialize.
