Life and culture of the students in IIT, Delhi.
Placements: I have worked for the TNP, i.e. training and placement. What the other people think about the placements in IIT are completely wrong. The average package offered for CSE student is 15 lacs per annum, and the overall average is 9 lacs per annum for a B.Tech student. But all the students get placed easily.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is awesome in IIT Delhi. We have a lecture hall complex which is used for the lecture classes and if you saw it once you will fall in love with that thing. Another awesome building we have is Dogra hall. Its roof is a paraboloid. We have a hospital also. The library is well-maintained and has almost all the books related to the courses taught in IIT. IIT Delhi has campus-wide Wi-Fi too. IIT, Delhi, has the biggest fest in North India which is rendezvous and we are proud of that fest as it is awesome.
Faculty: The faculty members here are sometimes annoying. Some professors think that they are intelligent and never listens to the student's queries. But the curriculum is moderately good as it gives you knowledge about every department starting from the chemical to mechanical. Also, we have some non-graded courses about the morals and the humanities courses like economics, sociology, etc.

The best facilities all across the campus are provided.
Placements: All my friends are placed and there are almost 100% placements for all those who tried. Some people did not opt to try for placements. They are interested in other things. In higher studies, they want to do something for India. So they are building an organisation.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi here is worst, but at specific places like the library, it is awesome. We only use LAN cables. They are some proxy settings to use the internet. The greenery in the campus is at peaks. The dogs here are friendly.
Faculty: The faculty of this college are the best. No other college has the faculty as good as ours. They are extraordinarily qualified. Our teachers are very caring. They help students in all aspects of studies. They also help in our decisions. The research facilities are splendid and 5-star. Fest Rendezvous is the best.

All in all a good experience.
Placements: Very good placements. Faculty helped us alot. There were some issues with placement such as no timely intimation of companies arriving. There was a website created for this, but it used to go down too often. But it was a good experience with the whole thing.
Infrastructure: Very good infrastructure, with modern amenities. But somewhere the equipment was too old. And they didn’t take our view if we had any issues. Medical facilities were too small for the students on campus. There were sports grounds for all type of sports.
Faculty: Faculty was top notch, with great skills and worldwide experience. However somewhere the faculty is quite old and useless too with zero stufent fruendly attitude. Teaching ratio waa good, around 1:40, but the industry exposure was not there. Course curriculum was moderately useful.

Very satisfied, although there is a huge scope for the improvement.
Placements: The placements in my college were very satisfactory. There were almost 100% placements for the senior batch. The highest salaries were around 1 crore rupees, whereas the lowest was around 4-5 Lacs per annum. There were a variety of companies visiting the campus ranging from core tech to the management, consultancies, and analytics companies. Roles offered were mostly in the junior positions, but a lot of them were immediately promoted. Almost 100% of students got an internship, the highest stipends offered were a lakhs a month, whereas the lowest was around Rs. 0 per month.
Infrastructure: There were almost all the types of facilities available, with impeccable quality. Many classrooms are old, but new ones are also being created. Quality of food in canteens is not very good. Hostel rooms are decent but are very cramped. The infrastructural related issue we faced was the lack of the transport from the hostels to the admin block, particularly during the night time.
Faculty: Many of the facility are highly qualified, but the new ones lack proper teaching knowledge. Some of them are helpful while some are not. Teaching methods used were case studies, normal blackboard teaching, ppts, etc. A proper industrial exposure was given to us. Also, the students to faculty ratio is around 40:1, which is very high. The curriculum was set up decently, but it needs lots of revision.

I am happy that I got this place, this is the life experience and the great way to step up in life.
Placements: The placements from the college went well. This year, around 90% of the student got placed not including the people, who does not appear in the placements. This ratio is the same for the internship. Around 250 companies visited the campus. Most of the companies were offering the job as software. The finance and the trading companies visited the campus. The average stipend can be said around 12 lacs per year, the lowest stipend offer is 6 lacs per year, and there is no limit on the highest offer but mostly highest goes up to 40 lacs per year.
Infrastructure: Our college campus has the Wi-Fi including the hostels, the classrooms, etc. Here, there are many biotechnology labs in which many students come from the other countries. The quality of food in the hostel is okay. There are problems regarding space because in the first year there are three guys in a single room. This is a great place for the sports students because there is a great facility for indoor and outdoor sports. Our college infrastructure is old, but remodelling is going on, so I hope you like it.
Faculty: In the final year, I met all the faculty members, and get to know about them. There is one thing in common in which all of them are highly qualified in their work field. We have the great course other than our field like for overall education there is humanity course, which gives touch in the history and philosophy in our work. There is a bad student to faculty ratio as there are 400 students who took the course at the same time. The ratio differs from 60:1 to 80:1. The classrooms are large in the college.

IIT - Delhi, which located in Hauz Khas is the best place to make your future.
Placements: We have awesome placements offering the packages that vary from Rs. 15 LPA to Rs. 1.5 CR PA. It is the best place for the intelligent people. It is the top college regarding the placements all over India. It also allows many people for starting their work, i.e., IIT, Delhi has given many successful startups.
Infrastructure: The facilities are the best which I felt. The campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled with a speed of 20MBPS. The library is open for 24 hours, and it is fully air-conditioned. There is a hospital inside IIT which also works for 24 hours. There are all the necessary sports facilities with all the necessary equipment as well. Now, a new sports complex is being opened at IIT, Delhi.
Faculty: The professors and the faculty are all highly knowledgeable. They are just more than qualified. All of them are most qualified in their fields. One of them was very close to winning a noble prize but couldn't make it through. Mr Kurur sir is the best professor of IIT Delhi.

No, IIT Delhi does not offer direct admissions to its MSc programme. The admissions are strictly entrance-based. Candidates seeking admission must apply and appear for the Joint Admission Test (IIT JAM). Once the exam results are announced, the institute releases a merit list.
