Placements: This year, the placements opened for the first time as this branch was introduced 4 years ago, and the placements are exceeding the institute average. Some students even have PPOs and offer letters, and some 3rd-year students are also getting a lot of internships.
Placements: Around 80 percent of people who sit for placements get placed. The highest package was around 3 crores in a quant-based company, while the lowest was around 10 lakhs. The average package is around 15 lakhs. Top companies that come for recruitment include Microsoft, Google, Amazon, and Texas Instruments. Around 50 percent get internships on campus. Top roles offered are in teaching, digital design engineering, and analytics.
Placements: In my course, around 50 percent of students were placed in great companies. The highest package was around 2 crores, and the lowest was around 30 lakhs. Top companies included Jaguar, among others. However, placements are not the only career path that people choose here; some students prefer to become social servants.
Placements: The placement record at IIT Delhi is quite good, with almost 60% of the students getting placed. The average package is around 15 lakhs per annum, with the highest being 1-2 crores, which is mostly for computer science students. The other students either go for higher studies or start their own ventures.
Placements: The placements are good in circuit branches but the placements for all other branches are not that good. The top recruiting companies are Reliance, Honeywell, etc. Some students also go for government jobs or for higher studies after this.
Placements: 80% of the students from the textile department were placed, which made up an AVG package of 19LPA but no one was placed in the core sector. All the students were placed in the teaching sector. Amazon and Goldman Sachs were the top recruiters. The highest package from textiles was 31 LPA.
Placements: At IIM Kozhikode, placements for students in their final year commence in the second year. There are about 120 companies participating, some of which are consulting giants like BCG, Bain, and Accenture Strategy. Leading companies from BFSI (Goldman Sachs, Citibank), FMCG (Nestlé, HUL), IT (Amazon, Microsoft), etc., visit regularly. The highest package that was offered was INR 67 LPA, while the average package stood at INR 31 LPA.
Placements: 80 percent of students were placed in my batch. The highest package offered was around 35 LPA, and the lowest was 9 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Larsen & Toubro and Tata. About 25% of students secured internships in both tech and core sectors. In the tech sector, most students were placed in companies like Google and JP Morgan. In the core sector, students were placed in Larsen & Toubro.
Placements: IITD placements are good. If you work hard, you can easily get a 30+ LPA package, and if you're consistent from the first year itself, you can earn up to crores as well. Top companies like Google, Microsoft, McKinsey, and Jane Street visit during placement season. We have a placement cell in our college that helps in aiding the placement and internship process.
Placements: Typically, a high percentage of students in civil engineering at IIT Delhi secure placements. The placement rate often exceeds 90%. The highest package can vary significantly each year but has been known to reach around 30–40 LPA for international placements and around 20–25 LPA for domestic placements. The lowest package is generally around 5–6 LPA. The average package usually falls in the range of 10–12 LPA, although this can vary depending on the year and market conditions.
Placements: The majority of students who participated in campus placements secured positions. However, if someone does not get placed, they can reach out to HR or the CEO of a company via LinkedIn, or they could visit the company in person with their resume to inquire about opportunities.
Placements: placement percentage in my course is approximately 70%–80%. This year, placement in our branch is quite low due to recession. The highest package in this year is approximately 36 LPA and average package is 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies, such as SOME PSU'S like HPCL, IOCL, etc. and some private companies, such as L&T, TATA Projects, etc. I don't have exact data but most people are selected for internships. Placements: Basically, it was recession time, but except that in my course, almost 60–70% of students got placed, the highest package was 50–60 LPA, the minimum was 5–6 LPA, and the average of my course was around 12–16 LPA. As all big companies come to our college, e.g., Google, Microsoft, Uber, Mercedes, and many more, and yes, the highest package of our college is 4 CPA, you can also grab it even if you are not from the CS branch.
Placements: Around 90% of the students were placed during the recent placement season for my course. For my branch, the main recruiting companies are Jaguar, Wipro, TATA, Mahindra, TCL, HUL, etc. The highest package is 81 LPA and the lowest is 12 LPA. The median is 15-20 LPA. Almost 30-40% of students got internships in Wipro, Jaguar, TCL, and HUL. Mainly Supply Chain Managers, Product Managers, and Supervisors are offered.
Placements: For the MBA at DMS IIT Delhi, ample placement opportunities are provided to students. In the last semester, almost all students had placement opportunities, with around 50-55% successfully placed in our course. Placements: Percentage of students placed in the course is 92%. The highest package offered is 17 LPA, while the lowest package offered is 2.4 LPA. Recruiting companies such as IBM, L&T, EFG, and many others are involved. Roles include Manager, Analytics, and various others. Many students have secured internships.
Placements: This year, the placement was a little low due to recess, but in normal, the places were around 90% with an average package of around 20 LPA and the lowest at around 6–9 LPA. Most students in my class prefer a software-type role. More than 500 companies register every year.
Placements: On a general note, the placements are pretty good; every student who has worked even a little bit on skills and maintained an average CGPA has been able to get a job. In my course, the skill aspect helped more students get an internship or placement. For the core companies, there were Vedanta, JSW and also Chakr Innovation in internships. Apart from that, Adobe, BCG, and McKinsey also selected some students.
