The minimum GATE score to get an admission into IISC Bangalore course-wise is tabulated below: 

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national-level examination conducted by the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) for admission to Master of Engineering (ME), Master of Technology (MTech), and direct PhD programs in engineering, architecture, and related branches of science.

Candidates seeking admission to IISc Bangalore can apply online on the IISc Admissions Portal, i.e., official website. Click the ‘Apply Now’ tab under the M.Tech course name and reach the registration page. Click on ‘New user Registration/ Login’ then select the programme and again click on ‘New user to register click here’. Applicants must use their email IDs to register (email ID cannot be changed later) preferably gmail. After registration, a verification email is sent to the registered email account, by confirming the email one can start filling out the online application. The application fee is non-refundable and can be paid online via debit card, credit card or net banking.

GATE admit card 2025 will be released on January 7, 2025 by IIT Roorkee online. For downloading the GATE 2025 admit card, candidates need to enter their enrollment ID and password. The admit card will contain the GATE exam date, time, candidates' details, the complete address of the exam centre and exam instructions. No candidate will be allowed to appear for the GATE without an admit card. • SC/ ST/ PwD categories: INR 400
• ERP candidates (all categories): INR 2,000
• Sponsored candidates from government organisations and PSU: INR 800
