It has strong academics, great placements, and good industry exposure at IIIT Bangalore.

Placements: Around 95-98% of students are placed in my course. The highest package is around 65 LPA to 70 LPA. The average package is about 24 LPA to 26 LPA, and the lowest package is around 8 LPA to 10 LPA. Top recruiters included Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, Nvidia, Flipkart, Goldman Sachs, and Samsung R&D. Around 80-90% of students got internships, mainly in companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, Nvidia, and Flipkart. Top roles offered are software development engineer (SDE), full-stack/back-end developer, data scientist, machine learning engineer, research engineer, and product engineer.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities for our department are very good. The campus has 24/7 high-speed Wi-Fi, well-equipped computer labs with updated systems, and smart classrooms with projectors. A well-stocked library is available with textbooks, research papers, and online resources. Hostel facilities are decent and comfortable, with clean rooms, Wi-Fi, laundry, and basic amenities. The mess food is average but hygienic. The canteen has limited but affordable options. Medical facilities are available on campus with a health center for basic treatment. The institute also has sports facilities for badminton, basketball, cricket, football, gym, and indoor games, which students actively use.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and very helpful. Many professors have strong academic and research backgrounds. The teaching quality is good, and most courses focus on concept clarity along with practical understanding. The course curriculum is relevant and well-designed, with a good balance of theory, labs, and projects. It helps students become industry-ready, especially for software and research roles. Semester exams are moderately difficult and mainly test conceptual understanding. With regular study and assignments, exams are manageable. The pass percentage is usually above 95%.

Other: I am a B.Tech CSE student from the 2024 batch at IIIT Bangalore. I chose this course because of its strong curriculum, experienced faculty, and excellent placement opportunities in top tech companies. The course is industry-oriented and focuses on core computer science concepts along with practical learning. The campus crowd is competitive and motivated, which creates a good learning environment. IIIT Bangalore offers good infrastructure, active technical and cultural events, decent hostel facilities, and strong industry exposure due to its location in Bangalore.

Great placements, very helpful seniors, small campus, and highly relevant syllabus for all branches.

Placements: The highest package is 145 LPA. Average package is 36.75 LPA. For internship, the highest is 2.5 LPA, and average is Rs 78,000. There are 350 internship offers and 306 full-time offers. Recruiting companies are Adobe, Amazon, etc. 97/99 students in CSE got full-time offers, and 136/162 in M.Tech CSE got full-time offers.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is throughout the college and in rooms as well, we get full coverage everywhere, in hostel rooms, classrooms, labs, etc. Hostel and mess are very close. There is a shop also, which is open till 2:00 AM for maggi, sandwich, chips, etc. There are vending machines open 24 hours. There are various sports available like basketball, football, etc., and all open at all times (outdoor).

Faculty: Teachers are very good and helpful. We can go to their office and ask doubts too. The curriculum is highly relevant, and no subject other than our course is taught, no chemistry or other subjects are taught in any semester. Exams are moderate here, some may be difficult. About 90% people pass the exams.

Other: I chose the college for the CSE branch. The best thing is that I am not taught anything other than CSE. What I wish would be better is funding for clubs or fests. The college invests very less in these activities, in my opinion compared to what fees they take. Scholarships are given to people scoring more than 90% i.e., above 3.6 CGPA out of 4. There is a very bad gender ratio here, almost 15:1 ratio.

IIIT B is a high investment with high returns.

Placements: There are very nice placements. As we are located in the heart of IT, placements are never an issue, and the placement committee does a great job. Talking about numbers, 100% of the batch is placed for M. Tech CSE, and the highest placement is 1.45 crores. As the B.Tech program started 2 years ago, we don't have placement records for them.

Infrastructure: There are very nice infrastructure. Sometimes, Wi-Fi is an issue, but it is very rare. We also have very good badminton, TT, basketball, and tennis courts. Mess food is comparatively better than at other colleges. Medical facilities are also available free for all.

Faculty: The best thing here is the course structure no nonsense, i.e., irrelevant courses. We are based on a system of CGPA out of 4. It is not very tough to achieve a CGPA of 3.2. The teachers here are not only professors but also researchers who are ready to learn new things and are highly qualified.

Other: Fests and all that are there, but don't expect them to beat the level of IITs and all that. They are not at huge scale. The majority of the crowd is very intelligent and has mastered one particular topic. The gender ratio is very messed up. There are very few girls.

Good college but has its own downsides.

Placements: The placement percentage was surprisingly 100 last year, with 65lpa being the highest and a 33lpa average, which is very high compared to other colleges. Many companies, such as Nvidia, Amazon, Infosys, Flipkart, and Samsung, were the top recruiting companies. There were 311 internship offers of which 96 are from CSE previously there was a 2cr offer.

Infrastructure: The campus is small but the labs and classrooms are amazing. There is a library in the college which is also pretty good. Coming to Wi-Fi it is not that amazing. The mess food is pretty good compared to other colleges. In sports, we have a basketball court, badminton courts, a football ground (small) and a volleyball court. Official there is a doctor available on campus 24/7 but that's not always true but there is a doctor on campus majority of the time.

Faculty: The faculty is well-qualified and knowledgeable. The course content is very relevant to the current IT job sector. I agree that the college doesn't provide the major skills, but the course syllabus is amazing. The exams are moderate, in my opinion, and very relevant to the course. The official pass percentage is not mentioned anywhere, but I believe it will be greater than 90%.. .

Other: There are a lot of events associated with our college like spandan, umang, synergy, infin8, and many more. As our campus is located in electronic city it is easier for us to explore Bangalore.

Best placements in India.

Placements: We are first batch of b teach for iiitb, The placement for our seniors were very good. Median 28lpa for CSE. Median 36 for ECE. Internship are good in college. You will have around 5 to 12 month of experience before join the company. Course are very well designed.

Infrastructure: It is very small campus exactly speaking 8.882 acres. Classrooms are very well maintained. They are some problem with Wi-Fi. Here they consider sport very seriously. Hostel food is good compare to other colleges. You will have medical facilities in the campus.

Faculty: Every Faculty has Ph.D. degree from good institute of the world. They do research on their with teaching. You have to study here. Do time pass here will lead to backlog. Curriculum is relevant to present industry. Semester exam not that easy nor hard. They are moderate.
