I would recommend this college to students.
Placements: Almost 100% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 28 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4.5 LPA. The average salary package is 7 LPA. There is high scope of getting internships in this course. Companies like Amul and Coca-Cola visit our college for recruitment.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good. This branch has a separate block of its own. Laboratories and a departmental library are also available, and they are fully air-conditioned. Hostel facilities are good. The food served in the hostel is good. It is safe to stay in the hostels.
Faculty: Our faculty members are helpful and highly qualified. Many have their thesis published as well. Our course curriculum makes students industry-ready. Plenty of opportunities are provided. Semester exams are easy to crack, and students could secure well if they follow all the classes.
Other: I opted for this course, because it is good. Students can get placed in top food companies. There are a lot of opportunities for students to grasp. As per the rankings issued by NIRF Jadavpur ranks 4th in India in university ranking, and 11th in engineering courses. The cultural fest of JU is famously known as Sanskriti. There are a lot of other events and fests as well.

I think my department is easy and provides very good placements.
Placements: Our department students are almost 80 percent placed in our course. In our course, the highest package is 12 lacs, the lowest is 6 lacs, and the average package is 9 lacs. The top-recruiting companies in our course are Mkelly Biotech Pvt Ltd. and AgriVision4Upvt. Ltd. 60 percent of students get internships.
Infrastructure: Our department facilities are really good because there is available Wi-Fi, a digital library and a large room. The class room is so unique. Our department also has a library and a central library. Our hostel is so good here; there are 2 people per room, Wi-Fi is available, food is good and, to mention, hygienic.
Faculty: All our teachers are so friendly; they all helped fully; they are all Ph.D. holders and have five to 10 years of experience; and there degrees are almost all very good. Our department is not the most difficult; during the exam semester in our department, almost all students pass. The pass percentage is 95%.
Other: I want a B.Tech course, then ranked WBJEE and a chance at this course. And I know this university has very good teaching and placement.

Absolutely satisfied with the university, and the placements are getting better with each year.
Placements: Almost everyone gets placed every year. The rest of the students go for higher studies. In the current year, the highest package offered in my branch is 35 LPA, and the lowest package is 6 LPA. Many companies like Kingfisher, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, ITC and many other come here.
Infrastructure: You get almost everything you need. I don't know how many colleges or universities help UG students in research works. The labs are pretty decent. The infrastructure is world-class, no doubt. You can get a high-paid internship in your 3rd year.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. Semester exams are difficult. Being an autonomous university, our teachers set the question papers, and the semester exams are difficult. The course makes students industry-ready. The teaching quality is topnotch.
Other: In packaging technology, I had to choose from food and printing, and I have much curiosity about food. So, I chose it.

A good college to purse engineering with low fee structure.
Placements: The placements provided in our college are average. Only a few students got placed in core companies, and the remaining students got placed in IT and consultancy companies. The highest package offered was Rs. 7 LPA. ITC, Pernod Ricard, Infosys, Aakash, Unibourne, Mondelez and Zycus were the main recruiters. 71% of the students attended placements and got placed. Many students got two offers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. The labs are quite good, and the classrooms are well-ventilated. The library has a huge stock of academic books and journals. Sports and debating societies are one of the best parts of the university. Sports facilities like basketball, cricket, football, table tennis and carrom are available. There are 9 canteens in the college.
Faculty: The faculty members are excellent. The course curriculum is well designed and detailed. The college conducts seminars and organises industry/company visits to provide exposure. Students have to work on projects. Industry exposure provided was a bit less. Students have to get internships on their own. The faculty members have immense knowledge.
Other: Events and fests conducted in the college are excellent. Sanskriti is the cultural fest celebrated at the time of Durga Puja in March.
