It is the top management college in the city.

Placements: The placement cell of our college is good. Top companies like Big Four, PWC, Infosys and Wipro visit our campus every year for placements and internships. Almost 70% of the students get placed every year, but most of the students go for higher studies. Jobs that are offered after the graduation are mainly HR, marketing and finance related.

Our college is a happening place. It gives good exposure to how the outer world works.

Placements: Placements are pretty decent. I have yet to experience it, but from what I have heard, it is quite good. It is a renowned college of Kolkata, and it always has its perks. We are introduced to successful entrepreneurs at regular intervals. Workshops are even arranged to encourage us.

I am satisfied with my college and the facilities provided.

Placements: In my batch, 200 students got placed. JD Birla provides placement in reputed companies to its students. The most popular offered roles are in Management, operations, and HR. However, our BBA branch doesn't provide placement but they are working on it since last year. The last batch appeared for campus interviews.

The placements provide by the college are very good.

Placements: The total number of students is 250 in every department and M.Com gives 100% placement. The package is starting from INR 96,000 per annum and it goes to INR 6,00,000 per annum and some companies also provide performance incentives. I exactly don't know the percentage of students who got an internship from my course as my course is not yet completed. But, I have heard from my seniors that the placements offered are very good.

It is the top college in West Bengal.

Placements: Placements in our college are good as 9 out of 10 students got placed. Best core companies visit here to hire the students. They visit the college from the 3rd year only and recruit students through exams. You can get internships here in the best companies like Microsoft, Tata, Samsung, etc.

I am satisfied because of good and clean infrastructure and marketing course faculty members.

Placements: Placements were not good at our college, but it offered a good amount of salary. Job profiles were also not good, and the location of the jobs offered was also very specific, so most of the students did not attend for the placement process. Very less companies visited our college for placements, so less number of students got the opportunity to attend the placement process.

Review of Department of Management, J.D Birla Institute.

Placements: The college doesn't have a dedicated placement cell yet, and neither it guarantees placements to its students. Only 7-8 companies visit our campus, and they also necessarily don't hire students. In recent times, the academics of our college is bucking up and hence companies are interested to visit on the campus. It is not one of the best BBA colleges in Eastern India.

As it is a graduation college, but most of the students opted for their post-graduation, and some of them joined their family business. Some were unsure about their CAT scores, so they wrote it again.

If you are not selected in St Xaviers due to shortage of few% then J.D Birla is the best alternative

Placements: There is a placement cell in college and in third year those who are interested can apply for placement and companies like WIPRO come and select the deserving student. It is not as good as St Xaviers, actually St Xaviers is far better in this criteria but atleast it is better than Bhawanipur and Shikshayatan.

There are poor placements in the civil engineering department.

Placements: Overall placements here is good, and placements of computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering are very good. But if we talk about the placements of the civil engineering department, then it's a little bit lagging in core companies. However, everyone at least gets placed in mass recruiting companies.
