Honest review of Jain Deemed-to-be University, Bangalore.
Placements: Placement is very bad; they don't even have their job portal; after course completion, they simply ignore your calls and queries; there is no support from the college side; in fact, they just give you a link to find it, where I have to find jobs, just like manually searching jobs on Naukri.
Infrastructure: I have opted for online learning so I don't know about that but there are few students whom I know; they said campus is just average. The course quality is good but rest of the facilities are very bad and they don't recommend anyone take admission in this college.
Faculty: Teachers were qualified and helpful, and the course curriculum is also good. The course is up-to-date; it covers all the latest topics that current industry uses like machine learning, AI data bases, etc. Short exams were held semester-wise and also there will be assessments.

Dissatisfied because of the faculty members, rest all is good.
Placements: 80% of the students got placed in my batch. The lowest package being 3LPA and the highest 15LPA. The average package was 7 LPA. TCS, Zscalar, IBM, KPI Partners, HP, Federal Bank etc. Are the top recruiters, but some of these companies provide less package. Around 20-30% of students only got internship offers. Software engineers, Business Analyst, Data Analysts & Data engineers are top roles.
Infrastructure: No Wi-Fi is provided for students, eventhough Wi-Fi connections are available. Labs and classrooms are spacious and can occupy around 80 students, and the Library facility is also very good, if you it well. There is seperate hostels for both boys and girls with lift facilities. The mess food is not so great, but adjustable if you eat out once in a while. Don't expect too much.
Faculty: Even though teachers are well qualified, the quality of teaching is poor. They are very arrogant and sometimes they may mess with you very badly. Course curriculum is relevant but you won't be industry ready. No hands on experience. Semester exams are easy if you study well. 30% is pass percentage.

Teaching is not so good but students will get enough placements depending on their skills.
Placements: Our college provides enough placements. Even if students don't have enough marks, they will make students fit for a company. There are many companies that come to Jain for hiring so atleast we will get placed at least in a company. Students will get placed anywhere somehow.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is not so good but the main campus is awesome. We have a good team of sports and other curricula. In Khelo India, we got the 1st rank. Since it was held on our main campus, we got a chance for volunteering which gives us marks and time. In Khelo India, we got many friends too.
Faculty: Some of the faculty members don't understand students properly but there are good faculty members too. There are teachers who mark students' papers without even looking at how talented the students are. They just want many theories even though it's not a valid answer.
Other: I chose MCA since I like working on computers.
