Aspirants wishing to apply for BPharm course at Jamia Hamdard have to follow below steps:

STEP 1: Jamia Hamdard BPharm Application Process 2024

The application process of Jamia Hamdard is in online mode. Aspirants can select BPharm in course selection to register for the same. 

STEP 2: Selection Process

Jamia Hamdard selects candidates for BPharm course based on NEET-UG or JEE Main score. Candidates who studied both Maths and Biology in Class 12 need to apply separately under JEE Main and NEET forms. For BPharm (lateral entry), the admission is based on marks in DPharm (all semesters/ years). 

STEP 3: Selection List & Counselling

After the completion of selection rounds, the university releases a selection list with the names of shortlisted candidates. Such aspirants recieve an email with further instructions. Shortlisted candidates are required to come for counselling round.

NTA announced the NEET 2024 exam date on September 19, 2023. NEET 2024 exam was conducted on May 5. The result of NEET 2024 was declared on June 4, 2024. After the result declaration, several irregularities and anomalies were found in the result and the scoring system. Hence, NTA is reconducting NEET 2024 on June 23, 2024, for 1,563 candidates who were awarded grace marks. The result will be declared on June 30, 2024. The NEET 2024 counselling process for the 15 per cent All India Quota (AIQ) seats is likely to be conducted from July 6, 2024 onwards. 

The NEET 2024 application process was conducted from February 9, 2024, to March 16, 2024. The last date of application was extended from March 9, by a week. The application and correction windows were reopened in April. While the NEET exam dates were scheduled in September and July a couple of years ago owing to the pandemic situation, it took a toll on the medical admission schedule. To bridge this gap, NTA conducted NEET in May last year. The trend is being continued for NEET 2024 as well. 

NTA is expected to start the NEET 2025 registration in the first week of March 2025. The last date of application will be scheduled in the first week of April 2025. Based on student requests and other external factors, NTA may extend or reopen the NEET application window by mid-April. NEET 2025 is expected to be conducted in the first week of May 2025. NEET 2025 application process will be conducted online. Candidates have to fill and submit the application form in an online mode along with the payment of the application fee.

Yes, Jamia Hamdard University (Deemed-to-be) offers a four-year BPharm course at the UG level. The four-year BPharm course is spread across eight semesters. Apart from regular BPharm course, the university also offers lateral entry. BPharm (LE) is a three-year course offered to students who have completed DPharm. Candidates who have completed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Mathematics from with at least 50% aggregate can apply for BPharm course. However, aspirants planning to apply for lateral entry must complete Diploma in Pharmacy examination of Jamia Hamdard or from any other recognised institution with at least 50% aggregate.
