MBA review, what I know all about MBA from lpu.

Placements: So many companies comes in placements but the package's are not good as if you compare to other universities like Manipal, IIM, Symbiosis etc. The average package's are 3.4 Lacs to 6 Lacs in which I believe it's not satisfactory because MBA meance a whole lot paying.

Highly populated but managed properly.

Placements: Placements of college are good in CSE branch. The package may not be high but placement of student occurs. Hard work for high packages is necessary. Company with high package comes but its upto you how much capable you are. College just upgrade your soft skills.

Lovely professional University.

Placements: Placement is average and only in the computer Science and it branches it is average 2-3 Lacs per annum for placements you have to pay extra fees in 3rd year and even if you are from electrical or mechanical branch they will teach you computer Science subjects.

Infrastructure, faculty and food facility are good except placements.

Placements: The placements are not good for mechanical branch. Only 3-4 core companies visit our branch, and only 2-3 students get placed in each company. The total no. of students in the final year is more than 1000. So engineering is not good in this college, because the student who have not placed work in low-level companies.

Good placements but a very conservative thinking college.

Placements: Previously it was good due to the mass recruitment policy and the students were getting placed at the 100% rate but with less salary, but now it has gone down by 10% but the salaries have been increased so far and also the placement teams are working very hard every tear to bring back the 100% placement ratio.

Other than show-off infrastructure, there is nothing to talk about this university.

Placements: For the last couple of years, there has been no recruitment in core companies. They focus on the student to learn computer software so that they can get placement in IT companies. If there is any placement, then the package goes up to 2-3 lakhs per annum. There is a placement cell.

My experience in LPU when I was studying at this college in 2013.

Placements: Nearly, four people got selected in the on-campus placements, and the rest all 53 were leftover, and they need to try their luck. The students had a hard time since staff are not even helping the students for any job placements. It was around 2013, and now, I don't know how it is going on, and I hope, it could be better.

It is a moderate university, so apply if you've some talent only.

Placements: The college placements are good for computer science related streams, but not very good for mechanical and civil engineering students. The main reason behind this is, there is less requirement of mechanical engineers at the market, which affected the whole placement scenarios of the university, as well as, students.

Don't enroll yourself just by seeing an advertisement as I did.

Placements: Placement sounds good and looks good on papers, but the companies say to us that you are not yet trained, to be employed. Companies do come to our university, but they take only a few of us. That is the main problem.

The review and remarks on aspects like a hostel and education of the university.

Placements: The placements are only for the sales profile. The college provides jobs regarding the specialisation, rather than giving bulk placements. Quality aspect should be taken care instead of quantity. A proper job description should be assigned and select the students fit for that job.

I don't know what is certified.

Placements: I don't know about the senior batch, but it was 800/3500 of us who got recruited in a single mass recruitment campaign by Cognizant. That is a short number when you put it up against the high strength of the CSE department. A few 4-5 went in LG also, but that is just too minuscule in comparison.

Good exposure but no future.

Placements: I am going to be candid about it, there are NO placements in B.Tech CIVIL. The reason is of the large Batch Size. In fact for Civil engineering even for well renowned colleges it is difficult to place the students. Because in this field it is mainly because of the contacts that one has in this field. Companies hardly do direct recruitment from the colleges as in other engineering fields. In our batch the total batch strength was around 600 students for Civil Engineering. Out of that only 10-20 p...

Join only if you are interested in extra activities and only if want to joinn BBA.

Placements: The placements are good, but the number of students attended placements is more. Not everyone gets placed, so you have to try hard to be on top and get selected for yourself. The companies that visit hires only the best 5% of the students. If you want to be on that, you have to be aware of everything and should not depend on teachers.

Lpu is for the money, by the money, to the money.

Placements: There is no as such placement for the civil aspirants here. May be by fortune, some students gets placed in IT sectors, but the core is just zero over here. And the reason being there only focus on other secondary subjects like Soft skills and computer subjects. So that students can get placement in at least a IT sector. Because they know they can't get there placement in core Civil sectors.

Good, if you are a brilliant student, and the worst, if you are an average student.

Placements: In the placements, every time, the college management will say that our students will place in good companies with a good salary, but a topper will be placed in good company with a salary of 8 lacs per annum, which is the maximum, but an average student can forget the name placements. Every student will undergo internships, but only 10% will be placed in the companies.

I would rate 5 out of 10 majorly from the placements point of view.

Placements: Too few companies visit with respect to the number of admissions that take place. Less of practical exposure and more of theoretical procedures are there. A computer science student was interviewed for Artech Information like companies which are basically checking your communication skills. The companies like Wipro would take 4-5 students out of 1000-1500 students who would appear in the selection process. Very few technical companies visited the campus for campus selection.

The university is not good for placements and to get a sound knowledge.

Placements: Currently, I'm in the 2nd-year, and it seems that the placements are going well for both our seniors and super seniors. Anyone who is thinking about better packages and companies, don't dare come to this campus. The management shows the percentage, but it is only for words. They take many of their students as faculty and show more percentage. The highest salary package for our seniors is 13 LPA for only 3 persons in ECE out of thousands, and the minimum is about Rs. 12,000 per month.

There is good infrastructure and the campus is vast.

Placements: Placements depend on the students because they will guide you with proper skills and it depends on you, how you perform there. Many MNCs visit the campus every year, and the package starts from 3.15 LPA. Even LPU has many students, and it tries to place as many as students as possible.

Placements: 90% of the students are getting placements in our college, and there is a great annual package from 4LPA to 16LPA. Not only jobs after the studies, but also internships are provided by the college to get experience.

The university is the worst for doing the Diploma.

Placements: The placement of Diploma is the worst. No good company or any is coming for the placement or the internship. Better not to doing Diploma form LPU and waste huge money just for Diploma. But the exposure of the real field is provided here, but it is useful if you go for the higher study.
