Now the college is Gerat, and giving a good placement .
Placements: Narula Institute of Technology boasts a placement rate of 75-85%, with branches like CSE and IT leading. The highest package offered is around 12-15 LPA, while the average package is 4-5 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Infosys, and Capgemini, hiring for roles like Software Developed, Data Analyst, and System Engineer. Around 60-70% of students secure internships at companies like TCS, Wipro, and startups, gaining practical experience. The institute focuses on industry exposure and skill development and helps students achieve good placements and internships.
Infrastructure: The institute offers Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, well-equipped labs, a rich library with digital resources, and modern seminar halls for enhanced learning. Hostels provide decent accommodation with clean rooms, 24/7 security, and Wi-Fi. The mess and canteen serve hygienic food with a variety of options, though opinion on taste may vary. Medical facilities include a first-aid center and tie-ups with nearby hospitals. Sports enthusiasts benefit from facilities for cricket, football, basketball, and indoor games. Overall, the infrastructure supports a balanced academic and extracurricular experience.
Faculty: The faculty at Narula Institute of Technology is qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive, often assisting students beyond classroom hours. The teaching quality is good, with a focus on both theoretical concepts and practical applications. The curriculum is industry-relevant, regularly updated to meet market demands, and includes skill development initiatives. Semester exams are moderate challenging, requiring consistent preparation, but the pass percentage is typically high, around 85-90%, as students receive adequate guidance and resources. The overall academic environment helps students develop a solid foundation for their careers.
Other: I like computers a lot that's why I choose this course. This course has a lot of branches. We need to update our syllabus and stay updated about the latest technology. We have 2 fests in 1 year.

I am satisfied with teachers and placements in 2023. It has a good environment, campus life, etc.
Placements: Almost 95% of students get placements as per college. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Deloitte, etc., visit the college to recruit students. Roles offered are frontend developer, backend developer, web developer, etc. The highest salary package offered is 6 crore per annum. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. About 40-45% of students got internships from the course.
Infrastructure: There are quite every facility except some sports stuff and activities. All classrooms have projectors, Wi-Fi on every floor, and an audio-visual room on every floor. It also has a library with available books for every subject. The hostel quality is fine, and they serve quite a good quality food. There are no medical facilities or proper sports grounds.
Faculty: They are qualified teachers from reputed places. They are very helpful and responsible too towards every student. They have sharp knowledge of their subjects. The course curriculum is relevant, as it is now trending all over the world. It is obviously making the students industry-ready. Semester exams are quite difficult in this college. The pass percentage is 89%.
Other: I chose the course because I like computers. The best thing about this course is it is trending, the environment is friendly, etc. The technical parts of study should be increased more in universities so, then the students can connect to it more practically. Quite 4 events are continuing and tech fests happen every year. The crowd is quite well in lobbies, and there is every possible way to connect. The college is surrounded by respected offices and other colleges. Every scholarship is available for every qualified student. There are two little grounds and students can play there.

Review of Guru Nanak Institute of Technology.
Placements: On average, 20% of students are placed here every year but the college authority says that in our college, they give 90% placement for advertisements, but this is not fully true. The highest package on campus is 6.5 LPA. The lowest package is 2.5 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. In the past few years, there have been no company visits to our college for my courses. Students get internships on campus in software service and product-based companies but not in a core company. Network developer is the top role offered.
Infrastructure: Faculty members are helpful and friendly with most of the students mostly departmental faculty but beside this, there are a few more faculty who cannot help the students and they are doing very unfair to the students. In the hostel, food quality is average but the campus of this college is one of the finest.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are helpful; they are highly educated and their teaching quality is below average. The semester exam at this college is quite easy and the pass percentage is 90%. Few teachers are sweet. This course curriculum is not bad .
Other: The department and faculty members are good. In terms of culture and sports, our college is the best.

Our college has really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Actually, it is a new course. In the CSE course, the highest salary package is offered on campus. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. About 40% of students get on-campus placements. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, etc., visit the college for placements. About 20-30% of students get internships.
Infrastructure: Programming and networking labs are available. It has a well-stocked library with books, research papers, and online resources related to cyber security, ethical hacking, and computer science. Sharing and single rooms are available in the hostel. A gym room is also available.
Faculty: Most professors are qualified with PhD degrees. They have knowledge in networking, programming languages, cryptography, and cyber security. The college offers internships, industry projects, and hackathons, which help students gain practical experience and become job-ready.

Everything about my college HIT.
Placements: Last week, Infosys and IBM visited our college to recruit some students. The highest salary package offered is 34 LPA. This year, the average salary package offered is about 6 LPA. About 98% of students got placements in our branch. Especially in my course, there are many requirements near Haldia.
Infrastructure: As I am a local student, I travel daily from my home. Overall, the campus is really good with 3 playgrounds, a gym, pool, garden basketball courts, and many more things. Books are always available in the library. Fests are held every year. All facilities like medical, canteen, and everything is good.
Faculty: Exams are held often. The difficulty level is not hard if one student reads the course well. There should not be any problem. Faculty members are highly qualified with Ph.D. degrees. They are very supportive. They provide a mentorship for industries from the early first semester. There is a good bonding between teachers and students.
Other: After WBJEE, I have not taken any exams. As a counselling, I got into this college. I have heard that placements are good in my branch, so it is the key factor. This was the reason I chose this course and \college.

Review : Faculty improvement is needed; infrastructure is decent but lacks sufficient amenities.
Placements: Around 60-70% of placements occur every year. The highest package till now was 22.4 LPA in 2022, while the lowest was 2 LPA, with an average around 1-2 LPA. Top recruiters include sales companies like Cognizant, TCS, Infosys, etc. Internships are not pursued by many students due to insufficient college guidance, hence providing no perfect answers to this. There are no top roles; only sales companies have come for placements so far. Most placements are secured by students off-campus.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not provided by the college, except for a limited 32 MB access. Labs are well-maintained and air-conditioned. Classrooms have an older appearance and are not in proper condition. The library is the best-maintained place, suitable for studying in summer but lacks air-conditioning. Hostel facilities are average. The girls' hostel offers single rooms, double rooms with attached bathrooms, and double rooms with common bathrooms. Boys' hostel only provides double rooms with common bathrooms. The previous hostel fee for boys was 30,000, now increased to 36,000. For girls, single rooms cost 50,000, double rooms with attached bathrooms are 45,000, and double rooms with common bathrooms are 36,000. Sports activities like cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, and recently added kho-kho are conducted regularly. However, there is no badminton court on campus; it is available only in the boys' hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are good if students study; teaching quality is average and not very engaging. If made more interesting, attendance would likely improve. BCET is affiliated with MAKAUT, but its curriculum does not seem industry-relevant as it includes subjects like Biology and EVS which are of limited use. Semester exam difficulty is average; MAKAUT's exam patterns sometimes cover only 1-2 modules out of 5-6, necessitating thorough study of all modules.
Other: Events are occasionally organized, but participation is low as opportunities are limited to consistently performing students, with few chances for newcomers. This discourages many students from participating.

Q:   How is the overall infrastructure of MAKAUT?

A:
{Source: B.Tech students & alumni]

MAKAUT offers a moderately busy campus life with a mix of academic and extracurricular activities. The dress code is flexible, and students have access to multiple sports facilities and a well-stocked library. The college has a hygienic mess food system and a fair attendance policy. Academically, the college follows a textbook-based teaching methodology with easy exam preparation and a well-maintained library. The campus is secure with guards and CCTV cameras present, but outsiders cannot enter without permission. Ragging is strictly prohibited, and students must seek permission to leave the hostel premises. All modes of transportation are available from the campus, making it accessible to students.

Based on the reviews provided, the overall infrastructure of the college appears to be very good and modern. All reviewers mention that the classrooms are clean and equipped with modern technology such as projectors, whiteboards and e-learning facilities. The campuses have free Wi-Fi and dedicated labs for each course, providing students with ample resources for their studies. Additionally, there are libraries, canteens and sports facilities available within the campus. The hostels are also well-maintained, with comfortable seating arrangements and good food options. Overall, the infrastructure of the college seems to be conducive to learning and provides a comfortable living environment for students.

Summary: The infrastructure of the college is excellent, with modern facilities, free Wi-Fi and dedicated labs for each course. The hostels are well-maintained, but some students may find the triple sharing of rooms to be inconvenient.
