Placements: This year the placement was quite good. Various good companies came for recruitment. If you are good enough you will get the jobs. Our seniors were telling that this year almost all of them got placed. Good packages like 7.89 LPA, 6.8 lpa etc. were there. I am satisfied with NIT Durgapur. Overall, it is an awesome college.

Placements: The placement of this academic year was quite rosy. About, 85 companies have already visited us till now, and more companies are lined up. Out of these, nearly 25 companies were for electrical. Some of the companies that visited us this year were Qualcomm, Direct, JPMC, CESC, IOCL, BPCL, and many more. Not many companies come for the internship of electrical students, however, some good companies like CESC and L&T do offer the internships. The placement cell of the college is extremely active an...

There is satisfactory academic curriculum with below par facilities and infrastructure.

Placements: Placement statistics shown are impressive with an average placement of about 72%. The highest placement percent was in CSE, while the lowest was recorded in MME, civil and biotechnology. Lower streams don't avail core placement. Offstream secondary placements are provided in lower streams.

Nice placement percentage.

Placements: Placements in this college, especially in this stream, have a soothing percentage. In 2017, around 85% students got placements until the end of the session, and around 65% got internship opportunities. Absolutely dissatisfied with the infrastructure, but really happy with the teaching.

Placements: Compared to our senior batch, the placement statistics improved by around 10% and a total of 100 companies visited the college till date, expecting around 20 more companies. Though most of the companies belong to either software or analytics, a few PSU's come for placements with a heavy package.

Placements: The placements for my batch were tremendously good as compared to those of the previous batches. Placements: When compared to normal engineering colleges, the placements in NIT Durgapur are better. Anyhow, it is a bit less than other NITs. CSE and IT students mainly bag huge packages. Around 100 companies come here for recruitment throughout the year. The companies like Amazon offered the highest package of around 27 LPA.

Placements: As I heard, the placements at NIT Durgapur are not up to the expected level. But after joining here, I came to know that the placements statistics are increasing day by day, and the overall progress of the students is increasing. Hope this will continue in the future.

The only thing you can learn is how to behave with the people.

Placements: A normal rate of placements taking place although the salary offered was not satisfactory except some of the famous companies. The core companies recruiter the maximum students, but nowadays, it becomes a little bit tough. As we are mechanical students, we can say that we should go on with what we get.
