Review of National Institute Of Technology Durgapur.

Placements: In the ECE branch, the college lacks in inviting companies, so every student from the ECE branch shifts to the coding side. Nearly 70% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered, including our course was 21 LAP and the lowest salary package offered was 3.3 LAP. An average salary package offered, including our course would vary from 6 LPA -7 LPA. The top recruiting companies were CDOT, Qualcomm, Tejas R&d, and KPIT. Amazing placements and experience.

Placements: The college provides a wonderful experience for the students to get started in their career. Placements range from a striking 40 LPA to 6 LPA. The higher end of salary packages are mostly seen in CS/IT branches from private sector like Microsoft, Amazon, Codenation. Nowadays Internships leading to PPOs are seen most likely from core as well as IT Companies.

It is a college with a very fast-growing infrastructure and many opportunities.

Placements: At least in the odd semester, 20% of my classmates got an internship in Amazon, JPMC, Addverb, Microsoft, Adobe, Jindal Steel Limited, etc. They are paying well, and the internship has a proper procedure. Companies like CESC, Jaro are still visiting the college, and they are also paying well as in UG level sectors. But you've to be good to get an internship irrespective of the institutes arranged. One student from our department has got an internship at Google.

Placements: Most of our batchmates got placed or chose higher studies. Like other colleges, computer science department had the best result with many students selected in Amazon and Goldman Sachs and other reputed companies. The branch students didn't get many job offers in core companies except Vedanta. However, most of them got a chance to work in consulting and financing companies.

Besides, qualifying NET exams, GATE exam, JEST, etc., and it is always the best option for M.Sc. students. You may appear in BARC and ISRO etc. and get a job there. An internship is a good option.
