NIT Hamirpur Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: The maximum percentage (99.99)of students are placed in NIT Hamirpur Electronic and communication engineering branch. 1.5 crores+ is the highest package of NIT Hamirpur and average package is approximately 10-11 LPA of ECE branch. Praoblbly all the top recruiters visited here.

Placements: Around 60 percent of students were placed in the pandemic year 2020 this is low as compared to the previous records but the pandemic affected placements in almost all the colleges. The highest package was 14 LPA and the average was 6-7 LPA. Many students went for off campus placements and many opted further studies abroad and in the IITs.

Placements: Almost 100% of the students got placed in the course. This year the highest salary package offered is 1.5 crore per annum, and the average salary package offered is around 7-9 LPA. This year one of the top recruiting companies is Amazon. Almost all the students got internships in several good companies like Amazon, Siemens, Infosys, etc.

Placements: Placements are above average as per the director of the institute. Almost 65% of students got placed. Some students of our college got placements with a salary package of above 1 crore per annum. Most of the students got placed in the IT sector compared to the core as there is scope in IT.

Placements: 90%+ students got placed. The packages range from 6-40 LPA till now. Top recruiting companies are Paytm, Wipro, Samsung etc. Internships are offered by Goldman Sachs and many more companies. The top roles offered are software developer, graduate engineer trainee, business analyst, academic associate etc.

Placements: The placements in ME is around 75% in NIT Hamirpur. Most of the students have been placed in IT sector companies like infosys, Paytm, TCS etc. In core sector, there is less placement compare to IT sector. The companies are L&T, Maruti Suzuki etc. that came for recruitment.

Placements: The percentage shown is around 84-85%, but most of them are placed in Infosys with a package of around 3.25 LPA. The highest package offered is around 15 LPA, and the lowest package is not disclosed. The average package is around 5.8 LPA. Recruiting companies are Infosys, Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra etc.

Placements: Mechanical core placements are weak now as companies do not hire many students in the core sector. So, this results in getting job titles like business analyst and software engineers. Even if you're from the mechanical branch, you can get placements easily in companies other than core.

Placements: The placements in the civil department are moderate with average packages. The placements for other branches such as computer science and engineering, and electronics engineering are better, and students also get good packages in those branches, but civil students got average packages. In civil, one good company that comes here is Larsen and Toubro.

Placements: Almost 100% of students got placements from our course. The highest salary package offered was 1.51 crore per annum in this session to a student named Nishant Singh Hada in Bloomberg company. Almost 80% of students get internships from our course. The topmost recruiting companies here are Amazon, Samsung, Avalara and Paytm.

Placements: Salary packages provided have been excellent here. News also shows the same that students are grabbing a salary package of more than 1 crore per annum. The average salary packages offered are above excellent. Companies are mainly attracted to the NIT reputation.

Placements: In CSE and ECE branches, almost all the students are placed. More than 90% of the students get placed on campus. Rest other branches have poor placement records. The highest salary package offered is 1.5 crore, and the lowest salary package offered is around 4-5 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Samsung, PayTM, Siemens, Alvara, etc. More than 20% of the students got internships. Roles offered were SDE-1, analyst, trainee engineer, data ...

Placements: CSE has regularly seen 100% placements, and recently, multiple students have bagged packages both international and national, up to 1.5 Crore. Amazon, Bloomberg and other companies have grabbed students quite often. Placements for other branches are also top of the mark.

Placements: Approx. 90-95% students in my branch get placed every year. Placement ratio is very good. Although the CTCs offered are not much high. Avg. around 5 lacs. On campus, the highest package offered was 15 lacs. And the lowest was 4.5 lacs. Recruiting companies are Google, Amazon, Wells Fargo, Standard chartered, Goldman Sachs etc. 90-95% students get internships. Rest apply for off campus. Software Developer engineer are the main roles offered.

Placements: Every year, almost 100% of the students from NIT Hamirpur CSE are placed. Recently, this college got the crown of the highest placement package among all NITs, where a student from CSE (dual degree) got more than 1.5crore package from Bloomberg (New York) the highest package : 1.59cr the lowest package: ~3 Lacs Average package: 9 Lacs Companies like Bloomberg, Goldman Sachs, Mindtree visited the campus. We have startup internship programmes for even 1st year students to get internships.

Placements: The placements in NIT Hamirpur are good. This year, above 75% of students of computer science stream have been placed in different companies like Paytm, Oracle, Goldman Sachs, Amazon and many more as software engineers. This year, many students got internships in good companies.

Placements: Around 60% of students are placed. As students are architecture they try to do masters so the maximum of students opt for masters and that's the reason why students have low percent in placements. The highest salary package offered is 1.51 crores. Godrej, Asian Paints, etc., are the top recruiting companies. Around 70% of students get internships. The roles offered are architect, interior design, landscape design, etc.

Placements: Placements in NIT hamirpur are really good around 60-70 percent of students gets placed every year. The average package is around 6-7 lpa and the highest package can go upto 20-25 lpa. Mostly recruiting companies are from IT sector and some companies are from core too.

Placements: For non-core placements, there are no issues because many jobs are offered to students than the number of students present in the class. However, the main concern is core jobs which have reduced a lot due to the corona pandemic.

Placements: There is a sharp fall in the highest salary package offered during placements 2019 and 2020 seasons which stand 1.2 LPA and 4.25 LPA respectively. There is a fall of 13.06% in the number of offers made during NIT Hamirpur placements 2020 as compared to 2019. The percentage of job offers for computer science & engineering were 130.86% and 120.73% during NIT-H Placements 2019and 2020, respectively.
