Placements: Good placements for M.Tech in NIT Trichy. All the students of my senior batch got placed. The average package for 2016 batch M.Tech CSE was more than 10 LPA (CTC). The current 2017 batch is almost placed. Current batch statistics will be given once placement season ends after April 2017. A wide range of companies visits for CSE placements here (DE Shaw, Oracle, IBM, Qualcomm, Cisco to name among a few). Roles offered to the students vary from developers, network analysts, software engineers etc....

Placements: The placements were excellent for our batch, with all my classmates getting placed in multinational companies and existing startups. Information technology consulting, BA and analytics were the major areas of placement with an average salary of 7 LPA and the highest being 10 LPA. Many companies including the likes of TCS, Cognizant, IGate, Bridgei2i, Odessa, E&Y and many others. Most of the students from our junior batch got internships through campus whereas for our batch, it was nearly 70%. ...

Placements: Placements for our batch were above average and the same was for our seniors also. A lot of good companies visited the campus with substantial packages. Most departments saw close to 90-95% students getting placed. Packages offered varied from Rs. 3 LPA to 28 LPA. The average package was close to 7 LPA. Placements: Placements for UG circuital branches are top notch. Leading companies visit the campus and offer really good packages. Packages like 15 LPA - 18 LPA are pretty common. The situation for PG and UG non-circuital branches, however, is not that great. Most students do get placed but not with very high packages. Average packages for these branches is 6 LPA. Placements: The placement session starts as soon as your summer vacation ends and with a great excitement. Our last year batch and our batch were very satisfied with the placement trend. If you talk frankly with the core placements, the value will be only 50% or even less. The circuital branches (CSE, EEE, ICE and ECE) got a luxury top notch companies, and most of the companies offer very competitive salaries as well. Placements: Placements in our batch were decent. Being branch specific, I would like to share that in spite of the PSUs not visiting for the campus recruitment, the placements were really good. In mechanical engineering, the highest salary offered was 17.5 LPA by ITC in techno-management profile. The average salary would be around 4.5 LPA. Placements: The placements are good. The college has a good reputation and track record, while MNCs are considered for the placement. Personality development during the course period helps very much at the time of placement. 90%+ students get placed, and most of the students are placed into their dream jobs.

Placements: Placements are generally better or as par to other two top NITs. Number of core companies visiting college are much more than any other campus. Placements for specifically CS branch are highest. Mostly, everyone gets placed and have enough companies to appear.

Placements: Compared to other batches, last year's placements were not up to the mark. There are 100 percent placements in CSE, ECE and mechanical. The average package is about 9 LPA for CSE, 8 LPA for ECE & EEE.

The college gives total freedom with respect to whatever we want to initiate, learn, and execute. This is the thing I like the most about this college. If a person is interested in sports, he can do well in that. Likewise, if he is interested in aeronautics, automobiles, hydraulics, etc., he can excel in that. The student community is excellent.
