Satisfied because of college environment and placements.

Placements: Yes, placements are really good here. For electronics, companies like NVIDIA, Texas Instruments, Samsung, Sandisk, and others come. And infact, this year there has been 100% placement for the students of Computer Science and Engineering. Package is also really good and decent. Electronics companies offer around 18 Lacs.

Helping teachers, great infrastructure and okay placements.

Placements: We had okay placements for our batch but we got a lot of students ( approximately. 25%) of our MME 2012-16 batch that opted and got admission in post graduate studies ( Master of Science in Engineering, M Tech, MBA) both from foreign universities ( Stanford, Columbia, University of Illinois, New York University, Harvard, Purdue, etc.). As well as IIM (IIM Indore, etc.). We got core roles in L&T, Reliance, BPCL, Tata Steel, etc. As well as general management positions in Amazon and PWC as well as...

Placements: Our batch had great placements. We got software engineering profiles from TCS, Oracle, etc., as well as data analyst roles from Mu Sigma and ZS Associates. We got core metallurgy jobs from Reliance, Tata Steel, HPCL, etc. Our placement cell is efficient in getting all students of our college placed either in core, software or general management roles.

Helping hand from faculty, great placements and wide variety of labs.

Placements: We had great placements as well as equally good opportunities to prepare for higher studies. We had a year long course of German for applications in German universities. We had core placement opportunities from Tata Steel, Reliance, Sundaram Clayton, etc. We also had general management and teaching opportunities from PWC and FIITJEE respectively.

Knowledgeable teachers, average infrastructure and placements.

Placements: Placements for my batch were average as compared to other departments of our college. Since we only had 60 students of our batch, a majority of my batch got placed, apart from those who applied for foreign universities for Master of Science in Engineering (Stanford, Columbia, Colorado) as well as MBA ( IIM Indore, IIM Kozhikode, etc. ).

Average pedagogy, improving infrastructure with time and higher education possibilities.

Placements: The placements were average for my batch, but my senior batch had better placements compared to our batch. Around 25% of the students opt for higher studies in USA (Purdue University, University of Colorado, New York University, etc.). The college has a placement cell. We have 10 placement coordinators, one from each of 9 engineering departments and department of architecture.

Placements: Placements for our batch were average at best. We had around 20-25% of batch applying for M Tech, Master of Science in Engineering and MBA in foreign universities and few IIM ( IIM Indore, IIM Calcutta, Stanford University etc. ). We had companies like L&T, Schlumberger, Reliance, HPCL, etc. Offering core civil engineering profiles.

Core placements, great laboratories and industry exposure.

Placements: We had good placements for our batch but worse than our senior batch. Placements are good for our department in alternate years. For example, Reliance took 30 students from our senior batch but only one from our batch. We still got other companies offering core metallurgy and materials engineering profiles like Sundaram Clayton, Ford etc. Apart from software engineering profiles from TCS, Oracle, etc.

Generally, we got software engineering profiles from Oracle, TCS, Citicorp Services India Ltd. etc. The college has a placement cell. It is responsible for getting prestigious internships to the college from recruiters like Tata Steel, etc. The placement cell is also responsible for our final placements and handling pre-placement offers (PPO) provided by the companies.

Placements: Placements for our and our senior batch were very good even after around 30% of the students opting out of placements for pursuing higher studies ( M.Tech, master of science in engineering) in colleges like Michigan State, etc. Companies like Dow Chemical Company, BPCL, HPCL, Schlumberger, etc., are offering core chemical engineering jobs. Software companies like Oracle, TCS, etc., offered software engineer profiles.

Placements: The placements for our batch 2014- 2018 are fantastic. This time, the placement percentage is about 99%. A separate training and placement department handles this part on the campus. The staff and representatives are helpful. The highest salary offered was 30LPA, the lowest was 4LPA, and the average was around 6.4-7 LPA. Must read this review before coming to NITT.

Placements: The placements are very good. The average package for CSE is around 12 LPA. The highest package offered this year was from production engineering, it was around 40 LPA. It was from UBER. Almost all top-tier companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Google come for placements. Once, there was 100 percent placement. Core jobs are offered with little low packages, but MNC offers big for programmers. There is a placement cell. They help us very effectively.

Placements: It has very nice placement as 95% were placed from my batch. There is a separate department for MCA. For B.Tech and other courses, the placements are very good. I recommend you to get admission in it if you go for NIMCET or GATE or IIT exams. NIT Trichy is the best among all NITs and some IITs. Its a good platform for MNCs.
