The review of National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli.

Placements: Around 30 people got placed in the core companies. Many construction companies like small companies or L&T like big ones visit the campus. For the core, the package will be around 5 LPA. L&T alone took 20 students from my batch and 18 students from the previous batch. One Dubai company took three students this year with a package of 18 LPA.

My honest review and experience at NITT.

Placements: The architecture students majorly don't prefer placements. A few take good deals from non-core companies. The other B.Tech category gets significant placement offers. The packages are good enough. The internship facilities are terrific. NIT brand helps in getting companies.

The experience was good. The placements are good. The campus is big and above average.

Placements: The placements are the okay type of the civil branch. One can easily get 4-5 LPA package from the campus. Some PSU such as BPCL, PGCIL, NLC, CIL, HPCL, and ONGC also visits the campus, but not every year. You can get some PSU if have good pointer and luck too. Around 80% of my class got campus placement. In Pvt company, the maximum package was offered by Tata housing, i.e. 4.25 LPA. People also get placed in software and management company and can get better salaries, and campus placement staff ...

The college has a really good infrastructure.

Placements: Placements are very bad as far as civil engineering is concerned. Only 4 to 5 civil engineering companies visited the campus for 2017 batch. The students who got placed in civil engineering companies are only 20 percent of total strength. But many other non-core software and management companies opened for civil engineering. About, 80-90 percent of the students who sat for the placements, got placed. The highest and the lowest pay is around Rs. 14 LPA (offered for software profile) and Rs. 4 LPA...

The exposure is exceptional. The kind of aura which the students create is outstanding.

Placements: The scenario was down for the year 2016-2017 when placements are considered. Still enough opportunities are provided, and everyone gets placed. The curriculum and independence given to fee departments need to be reviewed. Few courses are obsolete, and faculty is either lacking knowledge or less in numbers.

Really great with more expectations.

Placements: Almost 80 to 90% of my seniors batch got placed while the others went for higher studies like MS or civil services or MBA. The average salary offered to seniors batch was around 8-9 lakhs per annum. In our batch, we have got almost 75% CPUs internships, and placements are going to be in the coming year.

For quantity and capability of the student in future the NIIT college is the best.

Placements: 33 lakh per annum is the highest package placement offered by the production department, and the lowest package offered is 4.5 lakh per annum. The average package offered is 7-8 lakh per annum. PandG, PCW, Bank of America, axis bank, Bajaj, Tata Steel, Tata Motors, Reliance, Goldman Sachs, Texas and much more visit the campus.

Worth the money. The fee is low and is the reason why most of the students join here.

Placements: Last year, the highest package was 9.6lacs per annum, and the average package was of 6.5lacs per annum. The companies like TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, Caterpillar and few other analytics companies visit for placements and many more. Marketing and business analyst roles are commonly offered. Last year, the placements were not as good as expected due to demonetization and Trump being elected as president. However, this year there is a very good improvement. Good infrastructure with proper teaching aids.

Placements: After seeing the previous statistics, the placements seem promising in NIT, Trichy. For the mechanical department, 98.5% of students were placed in 2016, and many reputed companies visited the campus like Larsen and Turbo, Hyundai and Bajaj. We also have placements for summer internships separately. So, the overall scenario is good.

A respectable college with an ample of facilities.

Placements: The placements here are definitely better than most of the colleges. Being the topmost NIT, many good companies visit the campus for placements. Some of the best companies that visited last year are Facebook, Google, Intel, Samsung and Amazon. The average package is above 8LPA.

Overall a pretty good college.

Placements: According to the seniors, placements for the chemistry department are good. If a student has more than 8.5 CGPA, he will get placed in a good company. Even, if any students have lower CGPA, they will be placed. The average package will be around 7 LPA CTC. Many well reputed companies come to our campus for placements.

NIT Trichy surely justifies its 11th rank in the NIRF ranking, and is good in all respects.

Placements: According to the seniors, placements are pretty good. Most of the students in the batch are placed. Computer science, EEE, and ECE students get the highest packages, and many students get CTC of more than 10 LPA. Big company names like Amazon and Microsoft visit the campus for placements. Some students get jobs in core companies while going for IT or management profiles. Only some good students secure an internship through college while others get them outside the campus. Placements: The placement is being decent here. It is at no.2 placement wise among all NITs, the first was NIT Warangal and 3rd was NIT Jamshedpur. Placements for ICE, EEE and ECE reached 100 percent last year and achieved a new record. The lowest placement is for Civil and MME branch students. For CSE, the average salary goes above 10 LPA and for vote branches, the average remains between 6 to 7 LPA. The highest goes to a CSE student and in the last session, it was 27 LPA in Amazon. Placements: NIT Trichy offers one of the best placements among all NITs and even some IITs. Generally, 95% of the students get placed. In my branch, the highest salary was 20 lakhs by P&G, and lowest would be 3-4 lakhs. Some of the companies that visit campus for my branch are Reliance, Avery Denison, ITC, Schlumberger, PepsiCo, SRF, HUL, etc. The roles offered include software engineer, plant engineer, or a management position like business analyst. Internship varies a lot. Some students sit for campus int...

Placements: The placements have always been good at NIT Trichy. Although our batch saw a decline from the previous year, still, almost 85-90% students are already placed. The placements are really good for circuital branches while for civil engineering, metallurgy etc, the students do get placed but packages are not that good. Placements: Being the top NIT, the placements are very good. The top package was offered by Amazon at around 25 lacs, and the lowest was 4 lakhs. A lot of companies visited for the placement including the big names like Amazon and Microsoft. But the thing is you have to prepare your technical skills a lot because that is what matters. A typical architecture campus in India without a studio.

Placements: Actually, architecture colleges won't have any placements in their campus because the students do not need any placements as they have opportunities outside. The architectural design firms are very small and they won't come to the campus to conduct placements. But in NITT, we have good enough placement offers, but most of them are civil engineering-based, so most of the students are not really interested to sit for the placements.
