Good college with decent infrastructure and placement opportunities.
Placements: Almost 90 percent of the students get placed here in the overall MBA batch. The highest package is around 25 LPA, the average package is around 13.5 LPA, and the lowest would be around 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies that come on campus are Adobe, American Express, Dabur, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available on the campus are decent or average, I would say. It is enough according to the fees they are charging, and it is a government college. The facilities in the hostel are average too. You will get decent food in the mess and canteen, but the overall campus life is good as it is on the main Punjab University campus.
Faculty: The professors teaching here are quite experienced and knowledgeable. The courses and curriculum followed here are the same as those followed by other top institutes. So yes, the curriculum is quite relevant according to market needs. There are class tests, mid-semester tests, and end-semester tests too.

Review of University Institute of Applied Management Sciences, Panjab University.
Placements: Most students were placed in sales departments of different companies. The package they offered was really good. HR-related placements were also very good that came in the campus. Some big banks, like HDFC Bank, also came in for the placements.
Infrastructure: They have smart boards in every classroom, which makes it easy for the students to present their presentations made through PowerPoint. The canteen was really good and it was very clean. The washrooms are very neat and clean and also the medical facilities are there.
Faculty: The professors in the department are very hardworking, and they are very helpful to the students as well. The exams that take place on campus are taken in a proper way by the faculty from time to time.
The course that is offered by the campus is good.
Other: I had the best time of my life on campus. The events that take place from time to time on campus are very good.

Waste of time and money for doing the course in MBA Hospital Management
Placements: There are no placements for hospital management and even internships are also funded by themselves,
no support from faculty and even if there are placements, which are only done for their teachers favourites and internal marks are also given to their favourites, who satisfy their needs and egos
Package is zero as no placement are provided by them and their syllabus has many loopholes as compared to other top MBA colleges
Infrastructure: Average to below average facilities provided by them.
Ac doesn?t work in summer season
Computer lab are most often locked and Wi-Fi for show off don?t work
Hostel are good only few though but not all,Canteen food was good but overpriced
Toilet are worse than govt hospital
Faculty: There 2 teachers for hospital sector, but only one teaches properly and another one the female teacher doesn?t give a damn and only comes class to gossip about her own family problems with students and favours only her favourite?s student and don?t bother about other than her favourites.
Semester are easier to pass but there are loopholes in their syllabus
Curriculum is not that relevant as what is needed in corporate hospital
It doesn?t make students industry ready even hospital HR laugh at you when they hear you are from uiams
Placement coordinator doesn?t bothered about hospital sector students he only focus on other sector like retail banking etc
Pass percentage is between 70-75 if you are teacher favourite then you will be scoring higher in %.
Other: If you want join for PU name status then it is good but if you seriously want to study here for growth in career then you will be wasting parents money.
As there are no placements, only teachers pets or favourites get good internal marks.

It is an average college but very good university.
Placements: Placements were average. The placement cell was active and improving a lot, but still, it needed an improvement, especially in retail and HR fields, with more focus on internships and training. Salary packages are easy to get with little effort here.
Infrastructure: Our college was a new building which was recently constructed on the south campus of Punjab University with good spacious classrooms and location. It was easily accessible to various parts of Chandigarh and the main campus through vehicles with digital boards and a library.
Faculty: Faculty members were not very good. Students had to manage on their own as they were not interested in students. However, ample environment and curriculum were there for self-growth. They were not very strict, which would help for holistic growth and development of skills and knowledge.

Placements: Around 6154 placements were offered in our course. The highest salary package offered was 50 LPA. The average salary package offered was 9.54 LPA. Offers were made from various domains like finance, sales, marketing, consulting, analytics, human resources, and operations.
Infrastructure: Our college was equipped with a state-of-the-art computer laboratory with more than 50 terminals connected to high-speed internet connectivity through the computer center. Our campus was Wi-Fi-enabled. Air-conditioners were available in the auditorium. There were two seminar halls equipped with audio-visual aids and computers. Our college had an in-house library with more than 11,443 books and 152 journals comprising both Indian and International publications, thus enabling students to find references relating to almost all branches of management.
Faculty: The teaching quality was good in our college. Faculty members were very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Our course curriculum was relevant, and it made students industry-ready. They had great command over their subjects.

The education quality is good, and the teachers are very helpful.
Placements: Above 80% of students got placed. The lowest salary offered is 12,000, the highest salary is 50,000, and the average salary is 40,000. The college doesn't provide many IT opportunities. Jobs are offered in HR, financing, management, marketing, sales, accounting, and statistics business domains.
Infrastructure: AC facilities are available in classrooms. A library is available, but the canteen is very unhygienic. NCC courses are available in the college. Games are not conducted in the college. Drinking water facilities are available. The canteen environment is bad.
Faculty: The teachers are good and very helpful. Their teaching quality is good. They provide good knowledge to us. Proper seating arrangements are provided. Proper learning environment is available. Exams are not difficult because the teachers are good. The passing percentage is 50%.
Other: I chose this college because I want to gain proper knowledge and find a good job. They do not provide any concessions to poor students, and at the time of admission, they say that they will provide concessions and placements, but it is not true.

Candidates seeking admission to UBS and UIAMS for MBA are required to fulfil different eligibility criteria for MBA admission. The same is as follows (institute-wise):
- UBS: Any UG/PG degree with 50% aggregate with a valid score in CAT exam.
- UIAMS: Any relevant UG or PG degree with 50% aggregate, such as BE/ BTech/ BCA/ AMIE/ UG degree in Pharmacy/ MBBS/ BAMS/ BHMS/ BDS/ BPharma/ BPT/ BSc (Nursing)/ BVoc (Hospital Mgmt.).
- The institute also offers an Integrated BE (Chemical) – MBA to the students, admission to which is subject to JEE Main followed by JAC Chandigarh Counselling. Students who have completed their Class 12 who aim towards pursuing an MBA degree can go ahead with this course.

The 2024 CAT form have to be submitted by a certain deadline after which no application will be accepted. For 2024 CAT exam, CAT registration will go on between Aug and Sep. The exam will be conducted in November.
