Other eligibility criteria
Candidate must have passed VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. from schools situated in Tamil Nadu.
Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate.
Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply.
Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced.
Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognized institutions had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible, irrespective of their domicile.
Other State candidates who have studied VIII, IX, X, XI and XII Std. in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply.

Placements: Around 74% of the students get placed from our college. The highest salary offered here will be around Rs. 60,000 per month and the lowest salary offered will be Rs. 30,000 per month. Top companies like HAL, JET Airways, Capgemini, etc., visit our campus for recruitment. Most of the students got their internships in Dronera and Sri Design Cad Technologies Solutions Pvt Ltd.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility, classrooms, library, medical facilities, indoor stadium, ground, gym, sports, games, etc., are available in our college. There are also other programs like NCC, NSS and YRC. The food served in our college canteen is good. Labs and classrooms are well furnished and equipped with the required equipment.
Faculty: Faculty members here are well knowledgeable and experienced to provide us with more knowledge about the subject. They clear doubts of the students at any time. They follow the outcome-based education (OBE) system. They provide a course plan for every semester, which makes students get both theory and practical knowledge at the same time.
Other: As I have an interest in space exploration, I have chosen this course. In every department, events like Open House, symposium, alumni lectures, seminar talks, etc., are organised. Scholarships are provided to eligible students based on some criteria.

Our college provides good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Almost 75% of the students got placed in our course, and the other students are not placed. The highest salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per month, and the average salary offered is Rs. 17,000 per month. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month. Top companies like ISRO, DRDO, NAL, and HAL visit the campus for recruitment. Almost 100% of the students got internships in our course. Roles offered are as a research scientist, assistant engineer, aircraft mechanic, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college provides free Wi-Fi, but it is a bit slower. Labs are simply fine. Classrooms have all the facilities like smart class (projectors), etc. The library is good and is having more valuable books. Food served in the mess is too good. Medical facilities are good with 24hrs services.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are more helpful, qualified and highly knowledgeable. The teaching quality is so good, and they share more information related to our course. The course curriculum is relevant, and it also makes students industry-ready.

It has a good environment but average level infrastructure.
Placements: Almost 50% of the students got placed. Others who did not get placed need quality to get placed. The highest salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month. ISRO and DRDO are some core companies where students got placed. Almost 100% of the students got some internships. Top roles offered to the students are research scientist, and main engineers may be.
Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi is available, but it is a bit slow. There are good labs, but they are not well-developed. They are only at a basic level. There are neat and clean classrooms, and there is an excellent library with many books from different authors. Books are provided through the digital library.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, very helpful and knowledgeable. Teaching level is average. The course curriculum is relevant to the subject, which is helpful for students to get ready for the future. Outcome-based education is easy, but it is not making them industry-ready.
Other: I have chosen this course because it is my childhood passion. It is a current developing course nowadays and also a specialised course, which doesn't have more awareness. Quality of education must be improved, and labs must be developed.

Placements: Irrespective of the packages offered, many of our seniors have been placed in many reputed MNCs like INDIGO, WIPRO, BRAHMOS etc. And moving on to the internships we have been successful in getting internships from IISC Bangalore, MIT, HAL etc. The top roles offered are design engineer, structural engineer, Drone engineer, Drone pilot based upon their specializations.
Infrastructure: Our institution has an excellent infrastructure with an enormous library, full Wi-Fi campus and improvised static model labs. Speaking about the hostel facilities, I am myself an hosteller and I feel that they never compromise in quality that may be in terms of food or rooms. Our college has an inbuilt hospital working 24/7 to take utmost care of students and staff.
Faculty: One thing I learnt from the faculty of our institution is, they stand with you no matter that may be in need of education, practical knowledge, mentoring, counselling etc. And this tendency does not end up with your department staff alone, but all faculty join up even from other departments also for the cause of your upliftment.
Other: I chose this course out of my passion. In making my course more interesting, I would like our management to indulge us in more practical explorations. Coming to the events and fests, I feel proud in saying that I belong to such a department which keeps me occupied throughout the year by organizing n number of seminars, guest lectures, symposiums, workshops, industrial visits, local visits etc. Focusing on the extra curricular activities, I am an NCC cadet myself and its the best place to develop your social skills. Not only NCC equal importance and recognition is given to SPORTS, NCC, NSS, YRC etc.

Our college has good teachers, but curriculum needs a change and placements are below average.
Placements: Some students in our college have become an entrepreneur. Some are working with a salary of Rs. 50,000 per month. But placements for our course are below average. I'm not satisfied with the placements in our college, especially in our course. But you will gain some knowledge of start-ups.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. But they need improvement in labs, especially in machines related to aerospace engineering and technology-related. Facilities in the hostel are almost comfortable.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are good for our course. But the curriculum needs a change according to new syllabus introduced in the course of aerospace engineering. It needs more topics about space technology.
