Entrance Test
Eligible candidates need to appear for SRMJEEE (PG) conducted by the SRM University. Candidates with valid score in GATE/TANCET need not to appear for SRMJEEE (PG). International applicants are exempted from taking the All India Entrance Examination conducted by SRM Institute of Science and Technology.
Counselling
Admission is through counselling based on the rank obtained in SRMJEEE. Vacant seats will be filled directly by the institute on the basis of valid score in GATE/ TANCET. International students will get direct admission based on the marks obtained in graduation.

For M.Tech the college is an average option. But try to find some more better colleges.

Placements: Around 70 % students were placed in my course. The highest package offered was 30L, average package was 13-15L and the lowest package was 8-10L. Top recruiting companies were Ford India, wipro, Microsoft. 30% of students got internship from my course and 3 other different courses in IT industries. Top roles are lead engineer, Vp of sales, etc.

Infrastructure: The department of m tech has over 29 laboratories including thermal engineering, heat transfer, dynamics, metallurgy, robotics, metrology, fuels, etc. Modern computing facilities are available for students at the computer aided design and computer integrated manufacturing.

Faculty: All the teachers are helpful, and every teacher is qualified and have a doctorate degree with them. They are knowledgeable but sometimes you won't understand some topics. The course is relevant. Only thing is that they need to focus more on practical knowledge.

Other: I chose the course because I loved it. As we know AI is future so that would help me a lot. Things that can be improved is hostel rooms, bathrooms, and playground with canteen. Events and fests are usual and amazing.

Other: I did my under-graduation as well as my post-graduation through SRM. I started developing a keen interest when it became practical oriented. Lots of workshops and seminars groomed me to become the best outgoing student. They offered a stipend to continue my Post-graduation in SRM. Although they offer lots of professional programs, but still they maintain the standard which is necessary for any institution. Infrastructure and the facilities offered are simply mind blowing and whoever comes to the campus is sure to like it.

Other: SRM has an impressive academic building but a small campus with no outdoor playground. Classrooms are comfortable. Professors are strict about academics. Other: The college has a nice lab facility. There are mini projects for every semester. Should have employed qualified teaching staff for robotics. No placements for robotics in SRM. May be some IT companies consider M.Tech robotics for placements. The college is not worth the amount(college tuition fee) paid.

It is a below-average college.

Placements: Students with keen interest and dedication surely do get placed. Apart from that, placements are open to everyone and most students will get placed in some company or the other. The college will try to set you up in any work field or with a PG.

Infrastructure: The hostel is good enough. It has food that is survivable and good accommodation. The hostel is expensive now. It used to be cheaper, but now it's not worth it. It is better to take a PG or flat outside of college and stay there. I would not recommend hostels to anyone unless they want to live a routine life and be provided with what is required every day on time.

Faculty: Exams are very strict and very stressful. The administration doesn't care about our mental health during the exam period. The college administration doesn't provide enough breaks between the exams to prepare well for the upcoming exams, which makes it a lot tougher to be well prepared for the exams and score well.
