I am satisfied with everything provided by our college.

Placements: Most of the admissions are available in the COE branch here, and they managed it very properly. Most probably, most of the students get internships from our college. There are special societies which help us to learn more things and explore new things. Many different companies visit our campus to offer jobs.

Our college provides a great infrastructure and the latest facilities.

Placements: Around 35-40% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered was 7 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. Major companies do not visit our college to hire ECE students. Students got placed in Intel through the college-based internships. Don't rely on college, and you have to find a job on your own.

Really good in terms of infrastructure, placements.

Placements: The placements are good and a lot of companies do come but a lot of them are software-based. Around 90% of those who apply to sit in placements end up in a good company. Package varies widely depending on the branch but 6.5 lac would be a good estimate.

Placements: Placements are very good at Thapar, considering the number of students, you need to stand out from the crowd, and for that, two very basic things are required from your side- 1) Having a good CGPA; 2) Good knowledge of Data Structures & Algorithms. Top recruiters & bigwigs like Amazon, Microsoft, JP Morgan, DE Shaw, American Express, etc. Come at offer good packages considering the skill set of the candidates. Placements: 95 percent of the student got placed which is exceptional. The highest package is around 3900000 per annum and the lowest around 600000 per annum and internship is around 30 percent student got to grab internship which is a difficult task. So in my opinion, placement is quite average.
