Placements: I don't have an idea about the placements, but according to sources, I heard that the placements have been quite good in recent years despite the high intake of students every year. The top students of the college definitely get good placements. Students have to maintain a good aggregate.
Placements: Placements for computer Science is good but that to requires hard work, just because of the fact that you have a seat in CS won't fetch you job. Placement is 100% for computer Science. For other branches, the placement is not as good as Computer Science.
Placements: The college has decent placements with all types of companies, including dream companies with favourable job roles which allow students to take up the challenges of the world with utmost self-confidence and gain experience and expertise. There are almost 100% placements with a wide variety of roles and brand names, and also offers satisfactory salary packages.
Placements: Like every college/Institute, the placements in TIET varies from course to course. As USUAL, CS Electronics etc. Bag higher Placement over Mechanical, Civil, biotechnology etc. Around 270 companies from different genres come to the campus for placements. Placement ranges from 3.25 lacs (by Infosys, IBM etc.). To 32 lacs (D. E. Shaw, Amazon, Arcessium etc.). With average offer from 6-7.5 lacs Placement session of the current batch went out pretty well with over 93% Placement. Students are given r...
Placements: Placements are average. The placement percent is 60. The average salary offered was 4 LPA. The maximum package offered was 8 LPA. Companies visit the college because of the reputation of TIET. Philips Lightening, Krellogs, Gate India, Practo, ICICI, HDFC, Naukri.com, Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, visit the college for placements. Placement cell is efficient.
Placements: Thapar is a reputed college, and is renowned for it's placements, as most of the students here get placed ( 95-100% ). The highest package has been of 38 Lacs and the lowest is 3.5 Lacs per annum. Companies like D. E. SHAW usually visits thapar for the recruitment of new talents and brains. There is a special placement cell in the college and the students starts getting internships in the 5th semester only, on the basis of their knowledge in their respective streams. So, overall it's a good coll...
Placements: Placements are great for computers. Mechanical and Electrical are decent but for other branches its a bit low. Overall average package range is about 5-6 Lacs. For civil engineering, most of the students go. For higher studies or appear in competitive exams.
Placements: I am currently in 2nd year. The placement scenario is good in our campus. According to latest data, 97% of students of ECE got placed in recognised companies with good packages. For internship stat is bit week but it really depends upon your knowledge and interest. There is a placement cell from which all the information related to different companies could be gathered.
Placements: Placements here are quite okay. The highest package in my stream offered was ?38L. The lowest package is ?3L. Average package is approximately. ?7-8L. There is a placement cell in the college where all the interviews take place. Approximately 80% students get placed. About 50% students get internship.
Placements: The best part of Thapar University is always its placement scenario which is better than its competitive colleges. For 2018 passing out batch the highest package offered was 33 Lacs per annum by D. E. Shaw. Thapar has best placements for computer Science and average package offered is 6-8 Lacs per annum. For core branches including mechanical, electrical the average package offered varies from 4-6 Lacs. Companies like D. E Shaw, Amazon, Sandisk, Texas Instruments, Trident Group, RIL, ZS Associat...
Placements: Year 2017 Placement criteria- 6 CGPA Companies visited- 10-13 Core electric companies -3 the highest package -14 Lacs Avg package-5.6 Lacs Placement % - 89% placement cell - yes Placement cell is very helpful in bringing dream companies to our college and help us to get placed.
Placements: The placement offers for the students of civil engineering is less / neglects as compared to the other branches of engineering as computer engineering, IT, mechanical engineering etc. But all the teachers effort for the good sake of the students of their respective departments.
Placements: 80% of junior and senior batch got placed. The highest salary being 11 Lacs, the lowest being 3.5 Lacs and average being 5.5 Lacs per annum. There were many companies like ZS, TCS, Infy, Hero motocorp, LG, Eicher, etc. Yes, there is a placement cell and it is quite efficient.
Placements: Placements are good in this college, but computer Science has almost 99% placement and other branches has less, so its unfair Mechanical has around 90% placement. In last 3-4 years placements are declining and this year hoping to increase. Core branches had more placements. Some branchesu2019 batch hasnu2019t passed out yet.
Placements: Thapar has a placement record of almost 100% for every branch. Computer Science, Electronics and mechanical students have the best placement. The average package is approximately 6 Lacs per annum and the highest varies from 25 to 30 Lacs with companies like amazon and J. P. morgan giving lucrative packages to top students. About 180 companies visit the campus annually.
Placements: Placements of biotechnology are bad. Hardly any core company comes to the college, Siemens is the only one, I remember. Only those who want to do PhD in this field should apply in this course, as placement prospects are bleak. Ultimately you will be absorbed in an IT firm or startup which another mediocre engineering college can also provide.
Placements: Placements had been good. Around 80% students were placed. There is a placement cell CILP (Center for Industrial Liasion and Placements), which arranges interviews for final year students for placements. The average salary package is about 5 lacs per annum.
Placements: Though the placements now are not as they used to be few years ago but it's still best among all the private colleges in Punjab. Average package is around 4.5 lac with companies like L&T, WSP and Punj& Llyod visiting the campus. Some are placed in startups and IT firms like Accenture, TCS also.
