Placements: Thapar is known for its excellent placement records. Every student from the computer science background got placed from our college. Even ECE and ENC branch students get placed. Major recruiters for our course are Microsoft, Amazon and Deloitte, and they must visit the campus for placements. The highest salary package offered until now was 40 LPA, and the average salary package offered was around 8 LPA-10 LPA, which is quite good.

Placements: Currently, placements for 2020 mechanical batch are in progress. Placements: In Thapar, about 70 to 80% of the students got placed from the COE branch. Management and technical jobs are mainly offered. In Thapar, top-notch companies like Microsoft, Google, Infosys, TCS and many more offer salary package up to 45 LPA. Some startups also provide placements here. The average salary package offered here is about 10 LPA to 15 LPA while the lowest salary package is offered by TCS, and it is like 3 LPA-5 LPA.

Placements: Capgemini hired the students as a senior analyst. More than 250 companies visited our campus for placements as well as internships. I know that, if I were not in Thapar, I would not have been placed. It is all possible because of an effective and highly reputed placement cell of our college, which provided ample opportunities for us.

Placements: I got a job in Reliance Ltd through a PPO in 3rd year and final placement in Futures First. Overall, Thapar provides a good opportunity, and almost every company visits the college. Approximately 85% of the students get on-campus jobs, and many of them even get double job offers.
