Review of Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: The placements provided in our college are average. The average CTC that was provided was almost 10 LPA, which is quite less compared to other colleges like NITs and IITs. DE Shaw, JP Morgan, American Express, and many more are regular recruiters. Almost 400 offers were made in 2021.

Review of Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: Placements offered are not uniform. Although a few salary packages may go as high as 50 LPA for a few students, the mass placement is not up to the mark. Many students go unplaced or have to make do with a lower salary package than what is to be expected when taking into consideration the fee charged. Thapar also fails to advertise or market their placements in comparison to its rivals in the field.

I'm happy with the time I'm spending here. Sometimes you face obstacles, but most are easy to tackle

Placements: Many companies like JP Morgan, De Shaw, Oracle, Paytm, and even Microsoft come for on-campus placements. 104 offers have already been made in 2022. Many seniors got pre-placement offers, and seeing the skill level they have in the fields they are pursuing is immaculate.

This college is good for placements and campus life. For academics, you got to study hard yourself.

Placements: In my batch, about 80-85% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 46 LPA for now but placements are still ongoing. The average salary package offered is around 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies are JP morgan, Adboe, Oyo, etc. Around 60-65% of students got internships from Oyo and many companies. The roles offered are mostly from the technical field.

In this college, students can build themselves differently with different exposure.

Placements: In this college, not everyone gets placed. Only 400 students out of 2000 students are placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 46 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Paytm, JP Morgan, Infosys, etc. Almost 30% of students are getting internships in JP Morgan, etc. The top roles offered are software engineering, web developers, and android developers.

The lowest salary package offered is 8 LPA for other branches. De Shaw, Oyo, Axis Bank, Cisco, Paytm, etc., are the top recruiting companies.

Placements: Placements are good on the campus. Thapar is one of the best college in terms of placement. Placement records are very high. The average salary package offered is around 12 LPA. Students have to just be good in data structure and analytics. It is one of the best colleges in northern India.

Our college has good placement opportunities but bad faculty.

Placements: Placements in our college are declining at a very sharp rate year by year. The placement coordinator blatantly put these statistics forward this year during one of the placement meetings. Unlike in previous years, from this year onward, the students can only select one placement offer. If they accept an offer from a company, then they aren't eligible to sit for any more companies. Also, if you just get an internship offer (with no certainty of a full-time job), you still can not sit for any more...

It is a great college with diversified students and good opportunities.

Placements: The first batch of our college will be passed out in 2023. The average salary package expected is 5 LPA. Most students have received an internship. Our college also provides internships in the 3rd year. But you need to have a good CGPA to sit for the interviews.

Our college doesn't provide good placements.

Placements: It was a bit astonishing to experience an internship in the 1st year. There are several societies to boost your chances of getting placements. College is above average.

Companies like Talent Serve, Accenture, Infosys, OYO, etc. offer placements. The lowest salary package was 4-5 LPA. There are stipend and un-stipend internships. Several companies offer roles such as project head, manager, and HR. Placements are good.

Placements: Placements are poor. There are various companies for recruitment in both tech and non-tech jobs. The average salary package was 5 LPA and the highest salary package was 10 LPA. Placement opportunities begin from the 3rd year. Many top companies like Optum, Infosys Axis Bank, Applicate AI, American Express, De shaw, Jp Morgan, and many more offer internship and placement opportunities.

Placements: Placements at TIET are normal. The one who truly wants to get a good job can get it. Its placements are better than some lower NITs. The only poor factor is the number of students, due to which one needs to fight to get good placements. The highest salary package in 2021 was 42 LPA offered by Blackstone.
