Good infrastructure but bad faculty.

Placements: On-campus internships start from the 5th Sem and can apply for the same anytime from Off-Campus. Placements are good for the students. There are two types of internships provided, one is the Summer internship that takes place in the Summer Vacation and the other is the 6 Month Internship that takes place in the 8th Semester.

Our college has good placements but high amount of fees is charged.

Placements: On-campus placements start from the 3rd year onwards. Many kinds of roles are offered like data analyst, software engineer, business analyst, etc., are offered. Many MNCs come for placements like Mckinsey, JP Morgan, De Shaw, Optum, Saleforce, Oracle, Paytm, Oyo, Amazon, Providence, Celebel, and many more. Placements have improved from the previous year due to covid. Covid resulted in many companies coming for placements and all very getting easily placed due to placements being in online mode.

Review of the core branch at Thapar University.

Placements: The placements are average in the civil engineering department. L & T, Honda, Shapoorji Pallonji Group, etc., are major recruiters in the core. TCS, JP Morgan, Salesforce, Optum, and Trident also recruited students in non-core fields. Placements are degrading day by day because of the large intake of students.

Infrastructure couldn't be any better, the crowd couldn't be any worse; the faculty is doable.

Placements: Some of the companies that come to campus for hiring are Microsoft, Adobe, Salesforce, Blackrock, DE Shaw, Samsung, NVIDIA, IBM, etc. Usually, most of the students get placed with an average of 12-14 LPA packages. But in the end, it all comes down to the level of preparation an individual has done during their 4-year degree.

Placements: Everyone gets some sort of placements by the end of the fourth year. Placements are average, and students get a decent salary. The top recruiting companies are JP Morgan, Cisco, DE Shaw, etc. Once students get offered a job, they cannot apply to other companies that come on campus.
